Best non-ballpoint pen on the Market
The pros are enough to give this pen 5 stars but I was conservative in my rating.I like to read all the worst reviews on products just to see the crazy stuff people write. Some are crazy. The short version is this is the best pen out there because (PROS)1. It is fast drying non-smear ink2. It will NOT bleed through Paper3. It is permanent on paper and will not smear or run if it gets raindrops or a spill on it4. It writes smoothly with fine lines5. It is acid-free archival quality6. Dark BLACK ink (also other colors)7. I received a box of 12 as promisedCons1. The cap does not stay on the top when uncapped to expose the writing tip. Not that big of a deal because it does stay on if you don't lay the pen down and you should not do that unless it is capped. Capped the top fits tight._______________I am 71 years old and almost have a pen fetish. This is the best quality ink pen out there and trust me, I have tried MANY. I would not journal or write family history with anything else except-> there is a Sharpie straight barrel, cheaper pen with identical tip and ink. It has a little less ink than this one. It does not look as expensive, and the barrel is skinner to hold but the cap fits snug on both ends. I could not find a box of just black or I would have bought those.

These are the best pens. I love them so much that I ...
These are the best pens. I love them so much that I bought boxes of them so I can loose as many as are normally lost in life, but still have an awesome pen any time I need one.The only problem is, that I have not met a single person, of about 50, that have borrowed this pen, and known how to open it. They are designed in a way that people want to twist them open. So when people borrow it I always have to tell them, to pull it apart with gestures. Even with those instructions half the time people still try to twist it open. They are basically equivalent to the thin sharpie pens with a different casing, so maybe it would have been better to buy boxes of the other kind. But people tend to return the pen because of how nice it writes and the design, so they think it's an expensive pen. I've given them away to people that commented how they liked them, and all of them were super appreciative. They didn't realize how cheap they actually are.Even after years of use, the clips don't break off with lots of stress like most pens. I've accidentally washed clothes with these pens and they didn't leak because the cap is nice and tight. I've only ever had two dry out, because someone left the cap off for a day. They leave the perfect amount of ink on the page. My left-handedness doesn't cause my had to be black when using this pen.

Great smooth pen
Having bought a small sample package in store, I knew that I liked these pens going into this purchase. The grip is fantastic, making it comfortable to write for extended periods of time. There is no worry about smearing or bleed through (unless you leave the tip in contact with the paper for an extended period of time in one place). They are a little bit pricey (about $2.19 per pen [black] when I purchased), but they are well worth the cost in my opinion. I am always looking for the next greatest pen, and these meet the mark for the most part. One small issue that someone else mentioned: if you are heavy handed, the tip of the pen will wear out. Essentially the tip will smoosh down so that it no longer works. Not a manufacturing problem by any means. This is just how these tips work.Definitely consider this pen if you are looking for a great writing tool for a reasonable price. I own both the blue and the black, and they work fantastically!

Good, deep color
Good, deep color. Finer point. Takes a couple sentences of writing for ink to flow deeply sometimes. Nib takes a bit to fully soak up ink. This can be annoying. One other thing is that the cap is secure when covering pen but when using the pen and placing cap on back end, cap doesn't feel as secure. So while you're writing it seems prone to slide off a little. I find myself pressing on it a lot to make sure it doesn't come off and roll off table. Wish they had more dozen packs in other colors like purple...not pink or red.

1 pen for the price of 12! WOO.
UPDATE: I got in touch with the sender. There seems to have been an issue with the listing and they are more than happy to give a full refund. As others have also stated in their reviews, we got screwed. The item was originally listed as a "Pack of 12" for $10.36. Good deal, right? A little cheaper than other sellers but not really a red flag, right? Boom. Received 1, ONE, of the listed product. Not 12, but 1. Looking at this product page now shows the pack of 12 is $17.83 and the pack of 1 is only $7.14.The pens are great though. I prefer these over 95% of the pens I've used throughout my life.

Great ink - cap needs a redesign
Great pen. Smooth ink that glides across the paper. Doesn’t bleed or smear for me. The cap doesn’t click onto the opposite end for storage while you wrote, which is annoying but livable

Bring back the retractable version
Love these pens, only thing I'd change is the fact they need a lid. The retractable version was soooo much better, and Sharpie discontinued them.

Acid free pens for genealogy forms are great!
I need these for my genealogy work. I needed a very fine point for the small spaces in my genealogy forms. These are great! Sharpie never lets me down

Lost the cap 2 weeks ago, still writes
I lost the cap to one one these pens TWO weeks ago and it still hasn't dried up! These pens are fantastic. When I write, I have a tendancy to drag my hand across the page which usually leaves a big blue/black patch of ink on the outer side of my hand. This does NOT happen with these pens. They're pricey as far as pens go, but they last quite a long time and they are high quality - totally worth it

I only use these pens now
I only use these pens now. They are great, they write well, last for a long time, don't go through your paper and they don't leave goopy trails. I really like them.

Love these pens!
Sleek writing like writing with a rollerball pen with the permanence of a Sharpie! Great for signatures on paperwork and everyday use.
