So cute
I love this series of books for my little ones! It does a great job of combining learning about the world and cities/counties in it, learning literacy, learning about shapes and colors, etc. It is such a cute book that everyone in our family enjoys reading to my daughter. I would definitely recommend this and will consider buying it again in the future for baby shower gifts, to welcome new baby, or early birthday presents. I love any way that I can introduce an early love of travel, culture, and reading to children and this does all of that. It is so fun to read these books and remember going to Paris, New York, etc. I hope they continue to expand the series and add even more cities and countries to the mix!

Perfect to teach toddlers shapes
I was apprehensive about this one because of its simplicity, but that's what makes it so great. My daughter learned the word "arch" immediately while reading it, and it's helped her learn to say circle and oval as well (she's 16mo with a 3yo's vocabulary). Her only other shape book is Corduroy, which has too much going on and hasn't helped her learn any shapes. Going to get more from this series!

Great little book.
Love this book and series. The illustrations are beautiful and the text are age appropriate for 0-3. Just wish that the series would add other cities in different continents as well. Like Sydney or Cairo would be really cool instead of the normal touristy locations in North America, Europe or Asia.

Pretty pictures, but not long enough.
It's nice that you can teach shapes and have them learn about local monuments, but this whole 'Hello World' series just seems...lacking... leaving something to be desired. There's just not enough content and they're too short. The pictures and colors are pretty and eye-catching, but have you ever read a book that's like three words and then over? That's what these feel like. There's board books like, Baby bear sees blue and The little house, that just feel more substantial and are actually cheaper. I don't know. Maybe I'm just cheap. Or maybe this book shouldn't be $8.

Shapes incorporated into sights of Paris. A great way to learn both
Love this book. Perfect for learning shapes in s fun way and learning famous sights of Paris at the same time. And if you’ve been to Paris the book is even more fun for you as a parent. Has some shapes like the ARCH that other books don’t cover. Highly recommend this book!!!!!

Beautiful art
I bought this board book for my sister who is pregnant and decided to add another of the "Hello, World" series, after seeing how cute this one is.The illustrations are absolutely adorable - it's not often that you find such beautiful stylized art in a children's book. The only thing is, the parent reader will need to brush up on a few French words (patisserie, Louve, etc) before attempting to read this out loud to their child ;)The physical quality of the book is great, too - the board pages are thick and high quality.

Sympa
Ce livre apprend aux jeunes enfants à reconnaître les formes dans des symboles parisiens. La prise en main est plus facile grâce à son format cartonné et il craint moins les maladresses des petites menottes.
