The Cat's Claw has helped my carpal tunnel, ulnar nerve pain, and all of the other aches and pains I have had for years. They slowly started to fade as I began taking the Cat's Claw, and within a week of taking it, they were mostly gone. I took 3 capsules every morning to make the bottle last longer. When I finished the bottle, I went a week without and definitely felt a difference. All the old aches and pains started coming back by the 3rd day. Works as well as ibuprofen, which if you have great menstrual pain each month, is a life saver. Since Cat's Claw is not an NSAID, it is very safe. Despite being tested extensively in many countries, has never been shown to cause heart or digestive issues - unlike ibuprofen. I switched over a few months ago to Cats Claw from ibuprofen and it's cheaper, safer, and works just as well.

The label is misleading in saying 1350 mg and 90 capsules. On the back it says 1350 mg but a serving size of 3 capsules. That's only 450 mg per capsule and a 30 day supply! Not what the label leads one to believe. I'm super annoyed because I like to know what I'm buying, especially since I try to get a good value. Nonetheless, the box does make high claims for quality and authenticity which may be very important for Cat's Claw. That's because a different species is often substituted for uncaria tomentosa, one that is much higher in the possibly harmful TOA's. I say possibly because there's a controversy about whether TOA's are indeed harmful since the only study was carried out by the brand that patented Samento (TOA free). You can read all about it at Raintree's site. I wanted a full spectrum herb with negligible TOA's, which this is, if indeed the brand is as high quality as they claim. The deceiving label, however does make me question their "authenticity!" I think I'll go back to my trusted brand, Nature's Way Standardized. Or maybe I'll switch to a more economical powder or tincture if I can find one I trust. Requires acidity to be bioavailable! I mix with vinegar before ingesting because I have low stomach acid. I'm taking it for chronic Lyme.
