The Harmony Tarot: A deck for growth and healing

I pre ordered this months in advance and was looking forward to it.The overall theme is good the write up and guide book is well written. The design and layout of the book/deck is where it falls.Its just disappointingThe bulk of the deck is based on the 4 seasons, cool, great, but the art work is the same with very slight changed from ace to 10. So about 10X4 are basically the same art work. Then the Paige to king across the seasons are almost the same as each other with different colours. Its a very simplified deck and will take a while to get used to.Annoyingly they are named 2-10 in roman numerals, but not the names , so 3 of spring is just III so you will need to be familiar with the deck in order to remember what the cards are as the seasons are not named on each card only the number.The guide book, is good. I only wish the tarot meanings had been better arranged on the pages so each hard at least started on its own page to make it easier to find.

The artwork in the major arcana is cute , however does not have the original tarot names for the cards. This is disappointing but I understand Harmony wanted to put her own stamp on the deck. The rest of the deck not so great. I wish I had known it was a pip deck , if I had I would not of bothered. Lazy , easy way of making money in my opinion. Does not allow the buyer to really connect with a deck and use their own intuition. Very repetitive boring cards.Card stock is good though.The book is again quite hard to use , no pictures in the book. It is hard to find the card you have pulled to look up the meaning. Very Disappointed. Had so much potential to be good!Also Roman numerals are used through out.Not my cup of tea at all. Wish I had been shown a little more so that I would not of purchased this deck!Also not the deck creators fault but box arrived damaged which is frustrating.I would return for refund if I could but due to having to shield , I cannot.

The Harmony Tarot is a very beautiful simplicity-inspired, English countryside tarot deck. I think it's wonderful but there are some things potential buyers should be made aware of!Firstly, this is a pip deck. The major arcana is fully illustrated. However, the minor arcana isn't. Each suit is dedicated to a season and a flower and all that happens as the number gets higher is that the same flower develops more blooms. Essentially, the images in one suit are all the same. There are one or two minor additions to two of the cards in each suit, with a key or an added spiderweb in the background etc. but they are basically the same image. The flower associations are: spring is bluebells, summer is roses, autumn is heather, and winter is snowdrops.Secondly, the minor arcana is divided into the four seasons rather than the traditional wands, cups, swords and pentacles. Harmony does not explain in the guidebook which of the traditional suits is assigned to which season. I was able to work it out from reading the description of the meanings in the guidebook.Spring is wands, summer is cups, autumn is swords, and winter is pentacles. I disagree with her suit associations for autumn and winter. I take one look at the winter suit which features snow and snowdrops and I think swords energy! So, that's what I have been reading it as and it reads really well.The numbered cards in the minor arcana only contain roman numerals and no writing or titles. This can be a bit jarring when you're trying to remember which suit it's from. But I've found that this isn't a problem at all with regular use.The major arcana is basically a new system with some cards corresponding to the traditional meanings, while lots of others do not. For example, 'The Fairy Ring' card makes me think of the Wheel of Fortune, it's literally a ring of flowers. Cool! But it comes in at number 11, Justice. But her explanation of what it means doesn't correspond to the meaning of Justice either! This happens with a lot of the cards in the major arcana. The guidebook doesn't really explain why she has changed them, or if she has tried to create her own system. I kind of feel like this deck isn't really a tarot deck, it's a Frankenstein of oracle and tarot. But that's not necessarily a bad thing!One good thing is that the cards aren't numbered so you have carte blanche to ignore everything in the guidebook and read the images intuitively.My advice for using this deck is to read the major arcana intuitively using the imagery. A bit like an oracle deck. The meanings Harmony has given these cards are quite lovely, but they're not necessarily consistent with tarot. With the minor arcana utilise the correspondences of the suits and the numbers/numerology. For example, spring/wands is growth and potential, creative energy etc. While winter/swords is reflection, communication and the mind. For example, how does the energy of each suit play with the number six? Basically, with the minor arcana, just look at the number and then look at the suit and smoosh them together for the meaning! The suit associations I'm using are: swords as winter, pentacles as autumn, cups as summer, and wands as spring. Swapping the winter and autumn suits from what Harmony days in the guidebook made more sense to me. Pentacles in tarot just ooze harvest time and swords feel like a wintery, reflective, mental landscape.This deck would be nice for someone not interested in learning tarot who just wants something pretty, where they can look up the card meanings in the book and get a nice message. For those of us with a lot of knowledge of tarot, it's a bit confusing at first. The deck reads very well even though the structure is quite different to what I was expecting. I've really enjoyed using the Harmony Tarot and I haven't stopped since I bought it! It's a perfect deck for spring and it really does reflect the authors healing journey thus far.I also love that the deck feels very English countryside and that all of the flowers are ones common to the rolling British landscape. I feel this would pair very well with a collection of British folktales.Overall, a beautiful positive deck with some issues! If all else fails cut off the borders and keep your favourite cards to use as an oracle deck.

This deck is so beautiful and I already feel so connected to it. The cards are a really good quality and the guidebook is packed full with information and knowledge. I haven't figured out or found the traditional names for the seasons in the minor acarna, but it doesn't affect the cards use at all. 10/10, especially for tarot beginners like myself. Harmony is such a caring and thoughtful creator, who really knows what she's talking about. Can't wait to incorporate them into my full moon rituals tonight.

I’ve been a big fan of Harmony Nice for a few years now. I absolutely love Harmony. Her videos always make me feel so inspired and good about myself. She inspired me to go on my own journey of self discovery, and it has been amazing.I’ve eagerly been waiting for this deck release, and it hasn’t disappointed. The art style is absolutely gorgeous, and the guidebook itself gives a detailed description of each card and it’s meaning, along with a back story on Harmony.I urge everyone interested in tarot to give this deck a try, and Harmony’s book Wicca is also worth a read.5/5

I have so many tarot decks and I love Harmony’s work so I was really looking forward to receiving these.The cards themselves are really hard to read. They are in Roman numerals and then in the book in regular numbers so they are not consistent in this respect. Also it is hard to differentiate between the suits as the flowers are quite similar. I feel that the tarot concept has been deviated too much to be called a tarot and this is a shame.The material of the cards is really flimsy.The book itself is lovely with some lovely thoughts and guidance. I find it hard to read as the print is really light which is a shame.So disappointed overall, which doesn’t reflect on Harmony as a person as she is fantastic but I wouldn’t recommend this deck, sadly.
