"Cocoon of Comfort Gel CAR Cushion Combo Set- L18 AIRMAX

I don't use the back support at all. I bought this for the seat cushion. The seats in my new Nissan Pathfinder Platinum have a wrap up on the sides of the bucket seat that would just kill my right leg and then start my lower back to be sore. They would squeeze my butt and main nerves in legs (and I'm not huge at 6', 205#, 36 waist). I couldn't drive very far without a lot of pain in my legs. I thought this would provide a bit of height and cushion above these sides of the bucket seat so as not to get the pressure on my legs and nerves. It worked exactly as I had hoped. Previously I could not drive on hour. I bought this for a 17 hour drive to Ohio and drove 10 hours the first day stopping only for gas & restroom breaks with no issues. I'm sold. Now it's stays in my car. I saw others mention that it gets hot but so do the seats. I DID NOT find this to be an issue. I saved the back cushion but it's just sitting in the garage.

I have back problems and the seats of my 2019 Subaru Legacy kill my back. I was desperately trying to avoid having to buy a new car just because of the seats. But yeah it was that bad that I was seriously considering it. This cushion has helped tremendously! It’s not as comfortable as my gmc was but it’s close enough. I’m 5’8” and close to 200 lbs and it works. My husband is 6’1” and he has to put the seat far enough back that his head doesn’t touch the roof. He seems to have plenty of room. Still make sure to measure carefully! I do have to crouch down a bit to see out my rear view mirror but it’s not a huge deal. The only draw back aside from the price is that it does get hot in the sun and retains the heat for a while.I thought it was crazy to spend $200 but in the end I do believe it was worth it. I’m actually thinking about purchasing another one for the passenger side, too. I’ll update in a few months. Hope it holds up until I can get a new car.

Now that things are opening up again my husband has returned to his field work and bought this for his long days in the car and he loves it. His back pain has disappeared since using it. He can't use the seat part in his current vehicle because he's tall and needs the headroom but he still loves the product.

This product is durable, easy to install, and VERY comfortable for long road trips. Even after a 10-hour driving day (with breaks!), I was able to walk without pain after exiting my vehicle. Normally I can't drive more than an hour without exiting my vehicle without a limp from stiff joints.While comfortable, this cushion also is hot to sit on. REALLY hot. I purchased with the more expensive cover, which is supposed to provide better air circulation, but I didn't feel that benefit. On balance, for me, this product is just too uncomfortable temperature-wise to cause me to exclaim "I love it."If you enjoy having your backside sweating constantly, you should buy this cushion. You will not regret the seating comfort it provides, particularly if you spend hours on the road. To me the Conformax is more comfortable overall, but the Clever Yellow wedge doesn't make me sweat.

I've been trying for nearly a year to find a fix for the incredibly uncomfortable seats in my 2018 Honda Accord. I'm going to mention the car several times in this review, because other "fixes" showed up for me in a Google search, and I hope to help someone else. The 2018 Honda Accord seats are hard. There are a lot of ways to change positions of the seat, but the leather is hard and it hardly has any cushioning. I could barely stand to drive in it. I purchased 4 or 5 other pads and support devices before getting the Cocoon of Comfort. They were ok, but I was still uncomfortable and the pads slipped around. They also looked tacky. I had considered getting my 2018 Honda Accord seats reupholstered to make them softer, but my service guy warned me that another of his clients had done so and it had ruined the seats. I was going to approach my husband about taking a loss on the car and just getting rid of it and getting something else, but decided to try this pad set. This one is more expensive than other pad I tried, but completely worth it. The pads do not slip, and I am finally comfortable driving my 2018 Honda Accord. They don't look tacky. I'm short, so the back pad moves me forward just enough so the seat pan fits me better. I also get a little lift from the seat pad, so see better over the hood. I highly recommend this Cocoon of Comfort to fix the uncomfortable seats in a 2018 Honda Accord (or any other car).

I guess I'm just getting old and the wear and tear of my job has taken its toll over the decades. My back has only slightly started to ache from my 2005 Ford Focus's driver seat, but not enough to cause concern. Then I purchased a 2019 Honda Fit for my wife. We both absolutely love it, but the driver seat kills my back. The pain is mainly evident upon exiting the vehicle more so than while driving. I had to find some kind of relief for when I drive her car from time to time, because I really love the 2019 Honda Fit.This-seat-cushion-combo-set-WORKS!!! I'd tried so many other cushions, but they all had this big lumbar hump that would push you so far out in the seat and just made driving feel more awkward than not having the cushion made it feel painful. I just wanted a straight up flat back cushion and seat cushion with some cushion/firm padding. This combo set is really just that. I will say it is more firm than it is cushion, but if that's what you need for support then CHOOSE THIS!I can't tell you how happy this has made me. Because even though I bought the 2019 Honda Fit for my wife, again, I really love how it drives so much that I like to do so from time to time. Also, I know my beloved 2005 Ford Focus won't last forever (I pray that it does...but...) and I now know that if/when I do have to get another car, this cushion combo set has my back (literally).THANK YOU!!!

A very heavy gel based seat and back absorb road bumps. The seat stays where it's suppose to stay when getting in and out. The material looks as though it will last a long time.
