I was skeptical at first but needed to try something to remove vibrations on my deck while doing astrophotography. I would lose frames every time someone would walk on the deck while an imaging session was happening. Even breezy evenings would cause blurry frames. Using these pads, I estimate I went from throwing away around 20% of the frames to throwing away less than 5% due to vibration blur. Could be specific to my setup, but they did help me.

Pads do dampen vibrations and help steady the tripod mount on Celestron SLT 127 when setting up on hard surfaces. Would buy again

During our Sunday church broadcast, the lyrics on the screen would distort terribly with every bass or kick drum stroke. Our video platform was basically acting as passive radiator. I did not believe these innocuous looking little hockey pucks would do much. SURPRISE!!! The video is now perfectly stable. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone experiencing vibration induced distortion. WOW! Just WOW!!!

I have a 140mm refractor I use on a goto Skywatcher AZ-EQ mount and I never could use the fine focus because of focus shakes. I had seen these pads before in another brand name and considered trying them but wasn't sure if the price of the brand name ones were worth it. Then I discovered these and decided to give them a try. Simply put - they work. No more focus shakes when using the fine focus knob. These pads appear to be identical to the much higher priced brand name ones and probably are made in the same factory. If you're experiencing vibrations when focusing your telescope give these pads a try. They work and are worth every penny.

I really didn't have high expectations for these. I thought it was going to be a scam. I was totally wrong. These things are amazing. So far I've used them on tripods set up on pavement. One of the best things about them is they counter vibrations induced by the tripod itself, when moving your scope or camera. They then also counter vibrations from nearby people or cars. They also help with light winds. (LIGHT winds.) These won't counter a tornado or an earthquske but little annoyances they do well with eliminating. I would definitely recommend them. Also, these ones are half price compared to the celestron ones.

I used them on my 130 mm (5 inch) dobsonian telescope and it reduces the vibration time by half.

Quality wise they seem sturdy. The finish is a bit rough but does the job.
