Critter REPEL Animal Repellent | Deterrent For Unwanted Garden Visitors Including Cats, Dogs & Foxes (1 x 650g)

Bought this product after reading the reviews and found it to be very good. I placed it in the area frequented by animals and now I noticed that the area is being avoided now I have used the product.

My lawn is being torn up by what I have been advised is a fox ( not bad enough for badgers). I used the whole carton over a wide area and the damage continues. Why can't manufacturers produce something that actually repels foxes!Poor value for money.

Does what is stated, even when there has been continual rain.

We liked the smell but thought it washed away too easily in the wet weather!

Did not work as a deterrent to the urban foxes or the neighbourhood cats that like to dig up around my roses. Defenders prickle strip (from Amazon) put that down and it is much more effective.

Does not work for foxes. Even at 4 times the recommended coverage the Critter pellets did not stop the foxes from scratching numerous holes across the entire lawn.

Hard to tell if it's truly effective or not. Think I'll have to wait until next mating season & keep applying it. It's going to get expensive. I'm not sure if some of the bolder foxes ignore it or not. UPDATE: some ignore some do seem repelled as activity IS slightly less.I do keep water outside for the neighbouring wildlife's hydration anyway & something drinks it, so is not put off by this stuff.Keep at it to give it a chance. Luckily the granules are the same colour as the paving around my front door. It's not a strong smell. Think the fox only variant is better.
