A Prudent Choice For Any Prepper's Pantry - This Soup Mix Is Pure Gold!
As a seasoned prepper, I've been on the continuous hunt for the ultimate nutritious, long-lasting, and versatile food source. After decades of tinkering with food storage, I've come to realize that the best preparations are those that offer more than mere sustenance. They also need to bring flavor, comfort, and a semblance of normalcy in a situation that is anything but normal. That's where the Vegetable Soup Mix by Its Delish comes into play. The first thing that caught my attention with this soup mix is the package's sheer size - a generous 2 lbs bag that is clearly designed for long-term storage. Upon opening the bag, I was pleasantly surprised to see a colorful mélange of dried vegetables, lentils, and peas - it was like holding a rainbow in my hands! This isn't your typical, run-of-the-mill soup mix with cheap filler ingredients, folks. It's a powerhouse of nutrition, flavor, and texture.Taste testing this mix in my everyday kitchen before it made it into the prepper pantry, I found that it cooks down into a thick, hearty soup that's downright delicious. It's the kind of soup that warms you from the inside out and that tastes like it's been simmering on your stove all day - when in reality, it only took about 30 minutes to prepare. Adding a little seasoning or protein turns it into a meal that's satisfying enough to please even the pickiest eaters. One of the things I appreciate most about the Vegetable Soup Mix is its versatility. It's not just a soup base; it's a staple ingredient that you can use to stretch other meals. Add a handful to a pot of chili or a casserole to boost the nutritional content and give your meal a hearty, rustic touch. It works beautifully in any recipe that calls for a medley of vegetables. Its Delish has really hit a home run with their shelf-stable packaging. The sealed, resealable bag keeps moisture and pests at bay, ensuring that your soup mix stays fresh for years to come. This is crucial for us preppers. It's not just about having food on hand; it's about having food you can trust, even if it's been sitting on your shelf for a while. In short, this Vegetable Soup Mix is exactly what I look for when I'm adding to my long-term food storage: it's nutritious, versatile, tasty, and reliable. I've already ordered a few more bags to add to my prepper pantry, and I suggest you do the same. You never know when you might need a hearty, comforting meal at a moment's notice. With Its Delish Vegetable Soup Mix in your pantry, you can rest assured that you're prepared for whatever comes your way. That, in my book, is worth its weight in gold.

Great Flavor and Huge Time Saver
WOW, I just made the best soup I have ever made with these vegetables. This is the first time I have ever used dehydrated food and I was on my case for spending so much money until this soup blew me out of my chair. It was super easy. No chopping. No buying so many veggies that I could never use them all before they go bad. The ratio I used was 2 cartons of chicken broth to a full cup of dehydrated vegetables. I first sautéed one onion chopped, then added the broth, some garlic, basil, oregano, cracked pepper, and a splash of Cayenne for extra flavor then added one can of cannellini beans, drained and rinsed, and shredded cooked chicken; turned the heat to high to bring it to a boil then reduced to simmer for 1 hour. It was perfectly cooked. I have to make a caveat that this cooking time had to do with me living at 6500 ft. So, I have to do everything as high altitude. Cooking time may not require an hour elsewhere. Upshot, buying another jar of this. Decided it is definitely worth the cost.

Very small veggies
Makes great broth but reconstituted veggies are so small you couldn’t call it soup. Don’t like the texture but great taste.

Repeat buyer, really love this product
I bought this mix three times now and each time it’s been very good, I hydrate them all at once with hot water for two hours, and then I drain them and put them in flat Ziploc bags and stack them in the freezer. When I need some, I pull it out break off the amount that I want and add it to my dinner. What a great time saver!!The latest purchase, I added two cans of Italian seasoned diced tomatoes, and a bag of chopped spinach, I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m hoping it’s gonna add a lot of flavor to my soups and to my oatmeal, I do love a savory oatmeal!

carrots, red bell pepper, onion, green bell pepper, parsley, celery
I like to prep, and I like to eat. I try to eat healthy as much as possible. I love vegetables and incorporate them into my meals whenever I can, whenever I have the motivation to do so. I use fresh, frozen, canned, and dried. The dried are beyond a doubt an excellent option for the long term pantry, the working pantry, the emergency pantry, theSHTF pantry. Excellent prepper option. With a simple bag of dried vegetables, you are assured of a wide variety with needful nutrition.I have the 5 vegetable blend. Which is: carrots, red bell pepper, onion, green bell pepper, parsley, celery. I like that they include parsley but dont count it as a vegetable. I dont think it adds enough weight to be a concern for value. On a day to day basis, I like cooking up a batch then adding it to whatever- whether it be a simple soup, adding over potato or yam, adding to pasta, rice, ramen, adding to eggs, tofu, or savory oats or savory pancakes. They have options that include 16 vegetables which I will buy next. Even higher price but also greater variety and therefor nutrition and satiety. (Beets, Carrots, Red and Green Bell pepper, Spinach, Leek, Cabbage, Green String Bean, Broccoli, Potato, Sweet Potato, Pumpkin, Tomato Flakes, Onion, Cilantro, Parsley)I dont stick to one brand. I like this brand and have purchased options from this brand several times over. But I also have other brands-- basically I look closely at what each has to offer. I want a variety! As a dried vegetable, I have no worries about longevity. Some I have repackaged, some I have just kept in original packaging and tucked away. No issues.
