Not really a "mat". It's super-thin. Closer to a table cloth than a "mat" in terms of thickness
If you were thinking of something you could down put on a concrete floor and shuffle around on your knees, this is NOT that product.

Be aware, this is a very flimsy mat, not like the carpet ones you may see elsewhere.
Did not expect the very thin mat. It crumples easily if a child tries to crawl on it. It is not worth the money.
