Sliped right on the Ranger mount. It was a pretty easy install just had run some wires up To the roof of the truck and plug it in. it would have been nice to have the installation manual so I knew which wires went to constant 12v or switched, but i found it online pretty quick. The QR code that is supplied does not work, so that made it harder to find and navigate the web site.

This mirror IS NOT plug and play with a Toyota Tacoma with an existing dimming mirror. This comes with what looks like a propriatary plug on the back of the mirror. This plug will fit an included wiring harness which you must take apart your car to install. The instructions are super complicated if you are using the wiring harness, and your car's interior and exterior panels must be removed to properly install. If you want the plug and play one, you must order a different part and pay $50 more.So to reiterate, if you have a Toyota Tacoma with an existing dimming mirror, THIS IS NOT the correct part. Also, Amazon will only give you a Gift Card if you return this item, and will charge for shipping to return.

Had it professionally installed in my 2016 Corolla and it works exactly as expected. While I haven't set up the homelink system yet the compass is on point and I love the auto dimming. With the brighter lights that are standard in the new cars this is a must have feature in my opinion. I showed my son what a difference an auto dimming mirror makes with bright headlights behind you...so now he is considering getting one also. The sellers were great about answering my questions and delivery was prompt. I recommend this mirror if you don't want to be blinded while driving at night.

I have had this mirror installed for over a year now and I couldn't be happier with it. Dims the mirror when struck by lights from the rear and opens my garage door at the touch of a button. What more could you ask for? Great device!!!

This mirror was a very easy DIY install in a 2011 Toyota Camry (Base), for anyone with basic auto wiring experience. It only requires 3 electrical connections (constant/switched 12v, ground), all very easy to complete with included wire splicers/harness. My suggestion when installing this mirror, is to Google user groups for instructions specific to your vehicle model, as the included documentation is for a generic install. The Camry was actually a simpler installation than the instructions, as I was able to tap the nearby upper console for connections. Kit also included a mirror to headliner wire cover for a finished look.

This mirror was packaged well and received on schedule. It was easy to install and works great. I use it to open my gate and both garage doors. All cars and trucks should come equipped with this type of mirror. Many already do.

I bought this because I have a garage door opener but no convenient place to put it. The mirror now gives me compass direction (useful in navigating at times) and a garage door opener that's easy to reach and operate. Installation was easy; I do recommend that if you wire through the A pillar to the fuse block you investigate piggyback fuses that are available in most aftermarket auto parts stores.
