Dogloo XT door – large

I purchased this for my cats igloo, called the pet mate kitty cat condo. It fits but not as described. I lined her door with insulation to fill the gaps to keep her warm. Specifications should be more accurate. However, after a few adjustments it has lasted through one winter and we are on our second winter and the door/flap is still in good shape.

I did not realize the large sized door is too small for the extra large dogloo. The Amazon website did not explain this very well. I will still use the door as it was partially my fault on the misunderstanding. The door is difficult to attach to the dogloo because of limited space to access the nut and bolt which fastens the door to the top of the opening. Also had to redrill the holes as it will not line up correctly because of the different sizes in doors.

Too heavy for pets to push through that are smaller. You can't put a blanket in and the pet push it open to go in. Spoke with our mailman who has one and their dog has the same issue and won't go in. Too heavy and needs to be made of a lighter material like a shower liner.

description of this products dimensions were wrong, piece was smaller than stated in spec guide when purchasing.....screw holes didn't line up, but that may be due to the model year of our dogloo. I am frustrated that I spent 40$ on a piece of plastic that can't be returned now since I put new holes in the top to attach

Good quality. Unfortunately my dog completely chewed it up in one month. 🙁

I ordered this thinking it would cover the entire doorway but it DOES NOT so I had to order some rubber strip curtain material that my husband placed on the doghouse wonderfully as the thick strip curtain helps keep warmth in and cold out!

There seem to be a problem with the doors fitting the Petmate Igloo Outside Houses. I suggest that you read the order forms really closely including the small print and it will tell you the right door for the right House. I have never had any problems with the ones I have had through the years. I love Petmate Igloos Outside Dog House, it is a good product.

I just spent $20 on a piece of plastic that doesn't come close to covering the door opening on my dogloo. I'm going to say there is about a 3 inch gap around the sides and bottom of the opening. If you are going to charge consumers $20 for a piece of plastic, there is no excuse to not give them what they are paying for and for this thing not being properly sized and cut to fit properly considering the technology available today.

The flap is just big enough to fill the opening to the dogloo and keep the nasty weather out. It's a very flexible flap and resists being stuck as the pet goes in and out of the dogloo. I did have to redrill new holes as the holes that were in the flap didn't line up with what was in the dogloo already, but that was a minor detail and easy to accommodate.

The door is exactly what we expected. The only very small issue was that we had to drill new holes in the Dogloo frame to install the door. Not a big deal. It could be that our Dogloo was manufactured a different year. Very happy and our dog too!

Everything fit like it was supposed to. Works great.
