the engine works perfectly and looks great on a small scale layout that I have set out on my desk. Grand-children think it 's cool. I ahve recently bought more rails via amazon to enhance my layout and will continue to buy more as the design evolves

Even though it was shipped from Japan to the US, it arrived quickly and in perfect shape. It runs great and is a pleasure to watch. It has a rapido coupler (I think that’s the right term for a standard coupler, but I’m new to this), not a knuckle coupler. Alternative couplers are in the package but I’m glad I didn’t have to try to change it. So small! We’ve had it pulling 5 freight cars and a caboose.
