Activating God Space Kit: Equipping Your People to Be the Church in Everyday Life

We took our community group of seven couples through this as a weekly study. It is great information that is presented in a learning and practical way. Doug Pollack has a knack for urging us to be better listeners so that we are ready to engage others in spiritual discussions. We learned through actual examples of how we can create the space to talk about our faith journeys.

Overall, it is well done. The best part is the DVD sections. The individual lessons need to be augmented by the book. What's best here are the interactive practices at the table. The deeper you get into it the more you need to adjust as the focus turns from the individual to the church as a whole.

This is a great resource (used along with the book God Space by the same author) to get people in the church to think outside the church building. We are using it on Sunday mornings with a youth group and several adult groups. It contains practical ways to connect with people, including listening, noticing,serving, wondering and telling stories.
