Looks just like a gorilla. Comes with the body, hands, and head. Banana not included. It is does get hot after a while. It is not itchy. It is a costume so you don’t want it to be too tight. It would fit a an 7-9 year old well. It was a little big for our 6 year old.

Fits great, my kid absolutely loves it. True to size. IT DOES SHED.

The costume is attention grabbing, warm (good for cold weather only - sadly this year's halloween wasn't cold), overall good with some caveats:1. It loses hair in droves. Everywhere my son walked over when trying it on had hair dropped there. Can't they make it like the stuffed animals? Had stuffed animals lose hair like that, no one would buy them.2. Its facemask was distorted. The hairdryer thing helped, but not great.3. The back frequently opens. The velcro wasn't sticky enough. They should've just used a black button.4. It's a bit expensive even though this one was the cheapest I found. Unless you plan to use it again, it's a bit much.Overall still a reasonable one if you can take the issues.

Medium fits my eight-year-old boy well and it looks pretty good, especially considering the price. Four stars rather than five because of the following disadvantages -- (1) the eyeholes don't always line up well and visibility is poor. And (2) fur starts falling off immediately, and I feel like he's going to get just one use out of this suit.

Awesome costume my son wanted this so bad he actually won 2X on costume contests already and it's not even Halloween yet

Very bad quality. Fake fur falling off the costume just while unpacking it, even worse while trying it on. The dimensions are all wrong. The gloves are too big but the costume is way smaller than indicated. The XL size recommended for ages 12/14 wouldn't fit a skinny 11 years old.

My younger son who is 4' 8" modeled the costume for this review. I actually bought this costume for an illusion costume for myself. I went the cheap route and got the kid's version since I'm 5' 4". It was too small for me so my 5' son wore it and was a tad too short but I ordered gorilla feet to make up for the shortage and it worked out great. He won 1st place in the costume contest. The costume is so realistic. After I had made up the costume I sat it in the corner and several times it startled me because I had forgotten it was there. It did shed but not that big of a deal.

Perfect for my monkey loving boy. Inside material is a bit scratchy but was worn over long pants and long sleeve for trick or treating. Mask was slightly flat when arrived but reformed nicely with the air dryer trick. Did not notice excessive shedding as other reviews have noted.Only negative I can think of is the back only has on small square of Velcro at the top to keep costume shut. More Velcro or a longer strip would be nicer.
