Just get it!
This is a really good armored case for my OnePlus 8 Pro. The phone is all glass and the case gives me peace of mind, because I am a phone dropper. The case is drop tested 26 times and it's built like a tank. The hard polycarbonate shell is permanently attached to TPU, which surrounds all the edges and corners of the case. The phone never touches the back, edges, and corners of the case. So in effect, there's kind of an air cushion between the phone and all sides and edges of the case. The huge camera bump of the phone is protected very well also, recessed into the case's opening, surrounded by that nice soft TPU material. The only complaint I have about this case, and it's probably a minor one, is that the TPU material surrounding the alert slider is very thin and seems like it might eventually break. I wish UAG made that part polycarbonate instead of TPU. That way it would be more sturdy. But so far that part and the rest of the case is holding up quite well. I've been using this case for almost 3 weeks now and I love it! It feels great in my hand, and I have no doubt that it's going to protect my phone from my clumsiness. It doesn't add too much bulk to the phone, as other armored cases do and is aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. It's a bit pricey compared to other cases, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy this case again. This is money well spent to protect my $1000 investment.

Great, Thin, UAG Case
You just bought a $900+ phone. Are you really going to penny pinch on a case? It's comparable if some mobile store salesman sells you a case in store.I've used UAG in the past (Samsung Galaxy S3) and really loved it but haven't had a mainstream phone in a long time that UAG made a case for so I was stoked when I could pick one up (Spigen is what I used instead for 3 phones in a row when UAG wasn't available for my past devices). The case is thin but light. I got the ultramarine blue so I wanted to see the blue through the case and it works nicely. The case that comes with the phone hugs the phone curves a bit better but I like the more rugged look of this case; in fact I think that's my favorite part. You see all these people with pop sockets and I don't want one of those but I do want an easy way to hold my phone. This case adds some slight ridges to make it easier to hold. That might be a selling point for some people... I don't think this case would work with a pop socket. At the very least the whole adhesive pad wouldn't adhere to the case without some creativity - I wouldn't recommend using a pop socket with this case.My only (minor) complaint about the case is the rubber part over the notification slider is pretty thin but I think that's more due to the phone design (curved screen plus the slider) than the case itself. That's why I docked a star for durability. If and when it fails, it won't really affect function of the case since the corners would still be fine.

Nice looking case that seemingly offers great protection+wireless charging
Put this case on the minute I took OP8 Pro out of the box. Works with Anker wireless chargers with no issue. Not a huge fan of the flimsy little piece of plastic over the alert slider.

Outsanding case with a BIG CAVEAT for some users
This case is outstanding in almost every way, with one big caveat. This is an outstanding case. It really is, and I love it. It feels great in the hand, it's durable, well constructed, and looks good. I can still see the back of my phone, which is nice. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. If you don't care about wireless charging, GET THIS CASE. It's the best one available for your OnePlus 8 Pro as of my writing this.If you care about wireless charging, that's the big caveat. The issue is wireless charging. The item description clearly says it will not interfere with wireless charging. It most assuredly DOES interfere with wireless charging if you're using the official OnePlus Wireless Warp charger. I can charge my phone with no case and it easily pulls 4,500 mA and charges every time I set it on the charger. I put this case on and most of the time, it fails to charge at all. When it does, I get anywhere from 100-1500 mA. If it charged at 1500 reliably, I wouldn't even note it. But it doesn't. I put the phone on the charger in a normal, natural way 20 times. 17 times, the phone failed to charge. 1 time, it charged for approximately 5 minutes and stopped. The other 2 it charged until I took it off the charger. The case has a great protective design that, by necessity, moves the back of the phone away from the surface it's resting on or against. That seems to be the problem when using the Warp Wireless charger from OnePlus. (My guess is that it's very sensitive to distances because of the higher power output, vs. a standard Qi charger. Pure theory on my part.)I tried every position and adjustment I could think of. I found if I positioned the phone absolutely perfectly and canted it JUST right, I could get it to charge 75% of the time at a low rate (~1000 mA). That's still far from ideal. I took the phone out of the case and it charged at full speed, every time. If it was on the charger perfectly, or slightly offset, or canted- it didn't matter.NOTE: THIS MAY ONLY BE AN ISSUE WITH THE ONEPLUS WIRELESS CHARGER! I don't have another one to test, but I suspect a normal Qi charger would work just fine. Unfortunately, the flagship charger (marketed as a selling point of the phone) does not seem to work reliably with this case.TLDR: If you don't care about wireless charging, get this case! If you DO care about wireless charging, be aware that you will likely have problems with the official charging station. Other ones may work fine.

No longer fits OnePlus 8 pro
My original UAG case finally broke after 4 years. It was great. So I figured I would just reorder. So I tapped on the same item in my Amazon order history that I had ordered and purchased. It looks like the product it went to no longer fits the OnePlus 8 pro. The slot where the camera are is different. This new model would block the flash and other sensors. This does not fit OnePlus 8 pro.
