This is the very first food that i started my kittens on as they stopped nursing. It is very moist and soft and kittens are able to eat it easily. All kittens are drawn to the smell of it and they all love the taste as well. Highly recommend for young kittens and it is also good to feed to the mothers as it gives them extra moisture and calories in their diet

We foster kittens and use this food in several different ways. If kittens are very young and just weaned, they are usually used to a wetter/smoother consistency of food. In those cases, this food with thin and soft slices is a good way to transition them from the licking stage to the chewing stage. For older kittens, because they all seem to love this food, we sometimes use this as a topping on their standard food or, as a reward treat if we've needed to torment them that day with a bath, flea dunk or IV treatment. Whether it be a reward or standard meal, this is high quality food that (so far) all kittens have loved.

Great food for our very tiny kitten. We found a super young kitten and when we tried to give her other kitten food she wasn’t gaining weight, her poops were very stinky and almost diarrhea. We switched to royal canin level 2 and it was very soft and easy for her to digest. We kept her on this until she was about 6-7 weeks old and then switched her to level 3. She is thriving! She is so healthy and gaining weight appropriately. I’m so grateful we discovered this food for our little spunky baby. Absolutely recommend this if you have a kitten.

Our sixth month old kitten would not eat the kitten food she was being fed. She was trying to eat her sister’s big girl food. I found this and tried it. Our kitten loves this stuff, and eats it up like a champ. Royal Canine products have always been Keith quality and this kitten food does not disappoint.

My kitten loves to eat this wet food and runs to her bowl when she smells it. We’ve never had any digestive issues with it or diarrhea. The smell is mild but noticeable for cats. She is a growing kitten, and I think this brand has helped her put on a good amount of healthy weight. The price is pretty hefty in comparison to other more affordable cat food brands but it makes sense considering the quality of the ingredients.

My cats eat a prescription my RC, similar to this, and I got this thinking maybe it would be similar. But it is not as moist so the cats don’t necessarily love it as much as the prescription. The prescription is the kitten gastrointestinal for digestion, and it has a yummy glaze on top and more móist at the bottom, so it’s a little wetter when mixed. This is just the pate, without the saucy part. Probably a little topper would work well. It’s cheaper, of course, than prescription which is why I thought id introduce it to transition, to see how they do. Anyway, it’s good stuff no doubt and this is a great product. I’ll try it again with a little topper :-)

I have a very young kitten that I wanted to ensure got a good nutritious start. She loves this food and any leftovers the older cats have no problem cleaning up. I have raised other cats on this food through kittenhood too. I feel like there is plenty of moisture, the bits of food are a great size, and it must taste good.

I foster kittens that require bottle feeding, and this wet food is essential for their development. It provides the essential nutrients of mother's milk, fostering growth and increasing the survival of these babies in need of something they were unfortunately unable to be provided otherwise. Expensive, but very worth it.
