I've been practicing yoga for about two and a half years and this is hands down the best firm bolster i've used. I first used this bolster at a Yoga studio in Atlanta and within a week of using this bolster at that yoga studio I went on amazon and ordered one of my own. My only tiny criticism is i wish it was 26" long or came in a longer length option. That being said I only want because I'm so tall and I like using this on end in seated forward fold and lack flexibility in my hips and lower spine. If you want a firm bolster and don't mind some weight to it this is the bolster for you!

Exactly what was needed for my yoga class

This is a fantastic bolster. I ordered it because I was at a retreat center and they used this brand. It is very firm with just enough give and I believe it is filled with buckwheat. It has been great in my yoga practice and I use it as a supportive back rest when sitting on my couch too. No chemical smells whatsoever. I wish I had bought two because they are so handy.

After taking a yin yoga class and realizing how helpful the support of a bolster was, I wanted one for use at home. I tried a few others before finding this one. It has enough density, weight, and firmness to provide great support. It does not move or compress easily. It's solid. I sleep with it for lower back/hip support and it has improved my sleep so much. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
