Cost-Effective And Portable
TL;DR: Travel-friendly, versatile, comes with everything you need to get started including handled, ankle strap, door anchor, an instruction booklet, and a nice little stuff sack. Resistance levels are woven into the labels and won't scratch or wear off. Natural latex, so avoid extreme temps and direct sunlight. Great starter set!For safety, as with any workout system, check for wear before each session.++Full Review++I feel like I begin so many of my reviews by saying, "I'm a professional ballet dancer, and..."Well, here's another one ^-^'I'm a professional ballet dancer. That means my job involves lifting other human beings very high in the air—and while one might envision ballerinas as creatures of light and air, they have to be really strong, so they're actually creatures of muscle and bone. Muscle and bone are dense, so the lightest of my partners is likely to weigh upwards of 120 pounds. Some of the taller ladies weigh in rather closer to my own weight of 160 pounds. In short, to succeed in my career and keep my co-workers safe, I need to stay pretty strong.Enter the Coronavirus. In addition to being a dancer, I also happen to have asthma that's well-managed, but which loses the plot immediately whenever I catch a respiratory illness. I've had pneumonia five times, so needless to say I'm being careful as heck, which means not going to the gym during the pandemic (sadly, my company isn't big enough to have its own weight room).I don't own my own set of weights, and training with just the weight of one's own body is fine, but A) it gets boring and B) it doesn't reinforce the motor pathways for things like overhead press lifts.Enter this handy little kit!Five stackable bands with clearly-labeled resistance levels let you adjust your workout based on your needs. The resistance level of each band is woven, not printed, on a nylon label at one end—the labels won't scratch or wear off like printed ones might.I would've been delighted if the order of increasing resistance was keyed to the visible light spectrum, which would enhance ease of use, but that's not a big deal. You'll memorize the resistance levels pretty quickly if you use your bands often.Miniature carabiners connect the bands to the included handles, and the included door anchor can be fixed at various heights. The carabiners themselves look pretty lightweight, but each one connects to only one point on one band, so I'm guessing they'll hold up fairly well. If they don't, they're easy to replace. The instructions for the door anchor assume doors will have three hinges. Many doors only have two, so you might have to adapt a bit—this is the case in my 1950s-era house, and it's fine so far.The included instruction booklet shows you how to do familiar exercises that you might do with free weights or an weight-training machine (or how to get started, if you're just starting out). I'm sure there are plenty of additional exercises out there on the internet.I was pleased to find that, once you figure out how to replicate them, the exercises feel comparable in terms of load to the equivalent load using free weights or a weight machine.I like how easy and effective this set has turned out to be, but the thing I think is probably best about it is that, like free weights, resistance bands require users to engage the core muscles and pay attention to form. The compact size of this set and its convenient, included stuff sack also mean you'll no longer have an excuse to skip workouts when you travel. And by "you," in this case, I mean me. (No judgment if those of you who are*not* me opt out, though! It's fine to relax and de-load sometimes!)For those of us who lift people or heavy objects for a living, it seems like it would be pretty easy to increase maximum resistance by ordering another set of bands and mixing them as needed. For regular fitness purposes, this set will take you a long way straight out of the box. It's a complete, (literally) flexible workout system in a little black bag.A few safety points to keep in mind:1. The tubes are made of natural latex rubber, so those with latex allergies should use care in handling them.2. For the same reason, it's important to keep the tubes out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, which can degrade the latex rather quickly. Same goes for contact with water—if they get wet, dry them off—and especially oils.3. My husband, who's a physiotherapist, dislikes resistance tubes because if they do snap, they can hit you at high velocity with a small surface area that concentrates impact—so make sure to check for brittleness and wear before each session.

Great Quality!!
With not be able to go to the gym I decided to purchase a resistance band set. I thought it was going to be a mistake purchase but actually it’s a great purchase. The quality and durability is good. The material doesn’t look or feel cheap. I’ve been using it for about 4 weeks and everything is intact. I use it for leg, back, shoulder and arms workout. It was fast shipping I received it 2 days before the shipping date. I would recommend it.

Everyday Use...great for travel work outs
My husband and I bought these because we travel quite a bit and dont like using hotel gyms. This is a great pilates style workout or "machine" workout in the comfort of your hotel room. You can do arms/legs and can combine bands up to 150#. EZ to use.

Outstanding deal for the money.
Bought this set for my 85 year old mother and 90 year old father for maintaining muscle mass during the winter months when they cannot do much physical activity outside due to the cold. I am a retired medical professional and Health Coach with experience using free weights, weight machines and exercise bands and tubes. I feel exercise tubes like this basic set are the most safe and effective optional available for older adults or younger folks with limited budget or inability to attend more supervised instruction.

Great variety of strengths.
I had plain elastic bands without handles and didn’t like to use them and didn’t. I’m 78 and needed to get back to strength training and these were so reasonably priced that I gave them a try. They exceeded my expectations. They are well made and will last a long time. I keep the band I’m using in plain view so that I keep using them. I haven’t used the ankle straps yet but I really like the door anchor for different exercises. You can’t go wrong buying them. They are great.

Awesome Resistance Bands
I am in love with the bands. The set includes 5 types of bands, each a different color designating the weight per band. The bands are also labeled with the weight. I am able to do arms and leg exercises. They have become so handy because with recent conditions with Covid-19 I am only working out at home. The package includes 5 resistance bands, door anchors travel pouch, 2-handles for arm exercises, 2-ankle straps and manual that give you ideas on workout exercise. I recommend them!!
