Confident my brand loyalty is well placed.
Back in the early 90's I had my first experience with T-Fal. At that time, for whatever marketing reason, I thought of T-Fal as some lesser brand of cookware. I like expensive brand name cookware as much as the next person, but, when I asked a friend what they wanted for a bday present, they said a set of T-Fal. Ok, well, I'd have bought you AllClad if you'd have asked, but if that's what you want. After paying a little bit of nothing, then seeing the stuff in person, I thought, wow, I am gonna get another set for myself. This is nice stuff. So I did. And, with it being inexpensive and all, I used it really hard, like I didn't care if I had to replace it. I also overheated my 10" skillet about as often as a pan can possibly be overheated. Now, I'll admit, after almost 20 years, the non-stick coating in several of the pans is not very non-stick any more. But, none of it is missing! No holes in the surface and all that stuff in my food. In spite of the insane temps I've used the pans at, none of them have warped even a little bit. They are as flat as a pancake. I feel bad getting rid of my old trusty 10" skillet, but, its replacement is here. I bought the 8" thinking it would be a nice omelet pan but in truth, it's a bit too small for that. Nice pan, but, too small. My 8" skillet didn't seem to work real well as an egg pan when I first got it. Eggs seemed to stick pretty good, and clearly I expected better. After frying something in it using coconut oil, it immediately became the non-stick pan I thought it would be. This new 10" pan I broke in by boiling a shallow pool of water, then pouring that out and "seasoning" the pan with a good rub of coconut oil while over the heat. My first French omelet from this pan slid around like it was on an air cushion. Wonderful. This pan feels like a nicer quality pan than my 19 year old one. Though that one still looks nice, the balance of this one is nicer and the handle feels more sturdy. Not that it needed to be since that one isn't loose now. This one is also oven safe while the old one was not. The aluminum on the bottom of this is uncoated, where the old one I had was enameled. I use gas, and that one has needed the black crud cleaned off many times in the past. It cleans right up with ez-off, and I expect this one to also. Overall, I'd say these are the nicest non-stick pan you can get at any price. Cooks Illustrated seems to feel the same way. When you hold this pan in your hand, it'll feel like a pan of 5x the price. And, if it lasts like my last one, it's worth 5x the price. If you're a person who loves quality cookware, consider putting a few pieces of T-Fal in your collection. It'll fit right in with others you spent a mortgage payment on. PS. Their electric teakettle is amazing too.

Best pan ever
Bought a couple of these on a Cook's Illustrated recommendation. We cook a lot and have been through many different nonstick pans from the warehouse stores to the big home stores. These pans blow everything away, nothing sticks to them making for happy cooking and super easy cleanup. They get used so often they don't hardly get put away - Twice in the morning for breakfast, rinse with scalding water and left out to dry, then used again for dinner. I fully expected to start wearing out the coating by this time and would happily replace them with the same if that happened, but so far, they are showing zero signs of wear. The silicone handle is not slippery and never gets hot. The heat indicator in the center doesn't make much sense to me nor have I ever really paid attention to it, just a feature I ignore. HIGHLY recommended! When looking at these make sure you are specifically buying the "Professional" model - They have another that looks similar but is not marked as such as is NOT the same pan. This one through Amazon is where it is at.

It is NOT a 10.5 inch pan!
First off, I REALLY wanted to give this pan a 5 start rating, as the pan is AWESOME! However, my issue is that it is being falsely advertised as a 10.5-inch pan... when it is ACTUALLY a 10-inch pan. A pan's width is the inside measurement, from inner lip to lip. Even if you used the outside edge measurement, the pan would still not be 10.5 inches. The outside edge diameter is 10.25-inches. The reason this is important is because a10.5-inch lid will NOT fit this pan. I have a 10.5-inch lid and it is too large. Because of this, I'll now have to buy a 10-inch lid. Even still, I love the pan,

Remains non-stick for a long time.
These T-Fal frying pans remain non-stick the longest of any frying pans I've tried. I use it daily for eggs and 6+ months later it's still non-stick. I always use just a bit of oil and never put it in the dishwasher. Also, don't use real high heat when it's empty and never wash it under cold water when it's still hot. It'll remain non-stick for a good long time. I hear that ceramic is supposedly safer but they don't remain non-stick near as long as these. Obviously, never use metal spatulas etc.

Excellent quality pan at a good price
I originally bought this pan due to the 'best' rating at Cook's Illustrated magazine. I already own the 8" size, and bought this one because of the good performance of the smaller pan. I cook every day, and use this pan probably 3-5 times a week. This pan is much better than the Calphalon Unison pan I had. The Calphalon is a lot more expensive (I think about $100), and only lasted me 2 months before the surface started degrading. I sent it back and got it replaced, but haven't used it because the T-Fal is so much better. The most important thing about a nonstick pan is the quality of the nonstick coating. So, although the Calphalon looks more expensive (thicker pan with a nice heavy cast handle), when the coating fails all that luxury is useless. The coating on the T-Fal has been perfect after 6 months use without any signs of degradation. The red center is a pretty neat feature, as it is a simple temperature indicator. The higher end T-Fal pans (like this one) have a molded-in stainless disk in the bottom. You'll find some of the cheaper T-Fals are sold in grocery stores, but they don't have the stainless disk.

Good product

The surface is not even. Middle is higher than the edge so the cooking oil always trap at the edge.

We use these pans almost daily. You must follow the instructions and season the pan before the first use and after about every 10 washings. I also give the pan a little spray of spray oil such as Pam before every use. These pans for the $$ are very good quality and will give you about 4 yrs or so of use, before they start to deteriorate. Just remember they are not $300. a piece…….This is my second set of these pans. I needed to replace the old T-fal Professional ones and I purchased them again. Certainly would recommend them to anyone, but just remember, DO NOT subject them to HIGH heat ever...……..

Fed up with my old so-called non stick Fry pan I sought one that truly is non stick. This is brilliant and not terribly expensive either. Recommended strongly. You won't be disappointed

La foto es después de 6 usos, se ve robusta espero dure, no es perfecta, si se llegan a pegar un poco las cosas y si es necesario aceite o mantequilla, sin embargo parece que vale lo que cuesta.
