AIR FILTERS

Looks good! I go oem even though I don't like the price, but you know its good quality. Paid 2 bucks more from 166auto, but shipping was really fast. Comes in a plastic bag as dhown in pics, also compared to my old oem one after about 30k miles I think i will start doing it sooner, every 15-20k. 2016 ecodiesel 57k on it.

I use these filters in my '16 Ram EcoDiesel.In my application, nothing else compares to the Mopar filter's combination of pleat rigidity, reinforcement, air flow and filtering efficiency.The downside is that the Mopar filters are 1.5X the cost of Wix and slightly more compared to anything else that I would consider.I once saw a Purelator fold like a taco when driven in a blizzard. The EcoDiesel is my daily driver, and I drive in that kind of stuff all the time, so it's top of the line for me.

Product is great. I prefer OEM for warranty reasons as well as quality. A lot of the supposedly "better" aftermarket brands take shortcuts that could allow the filter to disintegrate. So I've ordered this product, same PN, 6 times in the past 5 years. Now, all of a sudden, the Amazon vehicle fit-o-meter is stating that this exact same product no longer fits my vehicle. I checked with Mopar to ensure that there wasn't a new PN. Back to Amazon, so where it tells me that this product no longer fits my vehicle it offers me to view other options. I click out of curiosity. There in the list of filters that do fit my vehicle, there is no Mopar product listed, even though I can still order it through Amazon by entering the PN directly, but 6 other non-OEM brands. This seems to be some sort of "pay to play" game that Amazon is instituting in that some products are blocked form coming up in the search even though you can order them directly using the same PN from previous orders. Shame on Amazon for causing such confusion in an effort to push specific products.

IF you have an EcoDiesel, and care about the longevity: DO NOT GO AWAY FROM OE!!It’s not just that these filters have significantly more filtration depth/surface area than Wix/Napa Gold or Fram (among other ‘store brands). It’s that they also have a more dense foam sealing (and seating) material.What I mean- is that the top/mating surface will not ‘roll or split’ when you clamshell that air box lid shut. It seats in better than the usual suspects.Plus, it’s made right here, in the good ole US of A.Confidence is in the quality.

This Mopar air filter is an exact replacement part for the original air filter in my 2017 RAM 2500 with 6.4L engine. Good fit and performance. Also, this air filter is made in USA!!!

Contrary to what Amazon says this item is exact OEM filter for a 2019 Ram Classic with Ecodiesel (which has the same engine as previous 2018 and earlier Rams equipped with Ecodiesel)

Mopar filter. Says made inUS. Same part number. Ecodiesel feels like there isn’t lag and am suspecting one of the lag culprit are old n dirty air filter. My mpg on highway speed increases a bit hastier than old dirty filter.Price wise though, better than stealership cost even as diy. More so if you add in shop hour, which are daylight robbery.

OEM stock air filter still under warranty, will upgrade here shortly. Cheaper than the dealer, mileage didn’t improve, 5 minute change out, so the install was easy.
