PetSafe Bling Easy Walk Harness, Large, Silver

I started to do dog training at Petco and my trainer recommended this collar. I purchased a gray and black one at the store size medium, fit was great. Unfortunately, I didn’t have it tight enough and she was able to chew through one side so I couldn’t use it anymore. But I really loved this harness so I bought another one online which is purple and has glitter for my female dog. It’s great to prevent them from pulling when you’re walking. If your dog sheds some of the hair will come off inside the collar, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. I’ve had it for several months and this one she didn’t bite through down off. It’s a little confusing to put it on at first but once you get used to it, you’ll love it.

I have owned dozen of these harnesses over the years for my dogs and recommend them to others. However the last couple of times I've bought one, they've started to break after a year or so. The one I currently have for my dog started malfunctioning last week, about a year and a half after purchase. Basically when she lunges after a squirrel one of the clips comes loose and she's able to run free. I hate to keep ordering things that end up in the trash (especially when there's plastic packaging involved). I'm writing this review because I can't find a way to contact PetSafe directly. I went on the website and can't find an email address. I'm torn because we need another harness, and these work better than any others I've tried - until they don't.

I love this harness for my 12lb mini Cockapoo, she didn’t pull excessively but she did walk faster than she should, I’d worry that her old harness was too close to her throat and gave her some discomfort but with this harness her pulling stopped immediately! She’d walk right alongside, at my pace and my young daughter can now walk her without feeling like she can’t control her. Also her hair is wavy/curly so I appreciate that this doesn’t flatten her hair or make her look funny when her hair is longer (dogs version of hat hair lol) I did have an issue with my first harness, after about a month of use one of the clips kept a undoing itself if she’d pull hard enough, she pulls but not hard, just out of excitement. I contacted the company directly and they were more than helpful, they replaced my harness without any issues. I also suggested that they bring this up to corporate because it seems like there’s a bad batch of small harnesses according to these reviews, they said of course they would. If you’re having an issue I suggest contacting them as well so you can enjoy the benefits of this harness.

I am still trying to adjust it to be comfortable for my pup. I find the straps hard to adjust. The fabric is a bit stretchy and with the metallic threads it's awkward to move the fabric in the clasps. It easily gets twisted as I'm attempting to get it on a wiggly puppy. I do like that he doesn't pull as much. If the video didn't have a perfectly behaved, non-moving dog to show how to put it on it would be a bit more genuine.

Once I was introduced to an Easy Walk harness (now PetSafe), I have used nothing else. I especially like being able to hook leash on chest or on back. Chest reduces pulling; back is better with a rain coat. Or to a tether in a car. I have used the harnesses on an 80 pound giant poodle; a 30 pound and 40 pound standard poodle; and 45 pound Afghan.The harnesses run large. The medium is the best fit for the last three, but the buckles and fabric are not as substantial as the medium-large and larger.I ordered the medium "Bling" most recently for the Afghan. The buckles are so small that squeezing one open is not only difficult, but could be painful for arthritic fingers. As one might expect, the long hair gets caught a bit in the bling.That said, all of the children in the neighborhood love the purple sparkles. I do, too!

Did not fit correctly

Well made. Wish it fit would have looked and probably worked great. Needed a size bigger. Ended up with another model of the same brand, not as sparkly, but it fit and it works well. it’s a quality brand.

I have one of these on my older dog and wanted one for my new pup. I love purple and thought this version would be fun. However with a long haired dog, the effect is lost as the lose hair sticks to it. I have Saint Bernards. For short, smooth coats you will be fine. But the collar itself works great and I highly recommend.

This is a very cute and effective harness in terms of helping with pulling on walks. The reason for three 3 star review is due to the buckle placement. The buckle is fairly large and ends up right in my dogs armpit. It looks extremely uncomfortable and I don't put it on got long periods of time to avoid any unnecessary pinching or irritation in the armpit from the buckle.

The media could not be loaded.  This harness is so adorable. The sparkles are super durable and haven't worn off yet. My dog loves getting dirty and playing in water, and this harness cleans up well. I choose this style because it is light and easy to put on. I would not recommend it for really heavy pulling dogs, but the front lead does prevent my dog (who is a mild puller) from pulling.

the strap locking mechanism should be stronger my toy schnoodel some how had them chewed off with in minutes and I did not get a chance to talk her for a walk

Le harnais est très bien sauf faire attention le tissus est brillant et ramasse tout les poils c est très déplaisant.

ゴールデンレトリバーで体重40kgです。今回はブルーのLを購入しました。胴回りはピッタリでしたが、リードをつなげる前部分が1番縮めても緩いです。頭側から引っ張ると抜けます。また、ハーネスに抜け毛がビッシリつきます。通常の散歩をするには問題はありません。値段の割にいまいちでした。
