Works well
Works great to be easy on electric drum set pads and still get the same great sound and play style.

Good quality, stay on, I like them
I use for practice when quiet and no damage to surface is a must. Nice, not unrealistic, bounce. Seem to hold up well. I even use on my cajon occasionally. Give a bit sharper tone than hands or yarn mallet. Fun with one nylon brush and one stick with Silent Tip. Unless I lose them it appears these 4 pair will last many, many years except if used on rough concrete or such. I initially didn't want to pay this much (only really wanted one pair), but now I am glad I made this purchase. I may be down to 3 pair already as I loaned a pair to a friend a few weeks back to try out and have yet to see them since. Maybe another satisfied drummer ; )

Every drummer should have these on hand
A very worthwhile investment. Great for backstage warm-ups. Excellent rebound. Consider moistening drum tip with water before putting them on. Work very well playing drums, generally softening the overall. Cymbals also sound good, and responsive with these rubber tips.

Great idea
I wasn't sure what I would think of these, but they actually serve a great purpose. I'm able to play on the table or a chair or any other surface when I don't have a drum nearby. It's quiet it doesn't damage anything and it really does feel similar to the actual bounce of drum head.

These feel good and almost no sound!
I saw Steve Gadd use these on a recent video and decided to try them. They REALLY are good for almost-silent practice. They also feel better than nylon/wood tips when used on e-pads (much more and realistic bounce). I can practice rudimental accuracy on the coffee table and not at all disturb my wife being on her computer. My old rubber pad has an almost new bounce, so I can no longer blame my crappy Moeller technique on the pad(:-p) BTW The price is great value for the money!

Could not get into these
I’ve been playing for about a year, starting at age 35. I got my first acoustic kit (Mapex Armory) and it was LOUD. I tried several option, Montel’s, tape, tuning, new batter heads, smaller/lighter sticks, and technique.Unfortunately, these tips make your cymbals sound like gongs. Hitting the drums is worse with less stick nuance because your stick tip is gripping the surface making rolls more difficult. I used them once and realized it wasn’t going to work in my situation, where I don’t NEED to be quiet. Given that it changes so much the tonal quality of the kit, I’d say the practical musical uses are limited here.If you absolutely must be quiet while practicing, I’d try the bamboo sticks, or a lighter weight nylon tip stick like the Vic Firth 7As and learn to dance lightly. Throw a t shirt over your drum and it would feel better than these, IMO.

Work great !
I bought 4 pair to put on multiple pairs of sticks so that I can leave them in different rooms so I can pratice anytime.

Does not work as advertised
I bought this product in an attempt to save money on drum dampener heads. For the price the product seemed like a great idea. Once I received it though, it failed to live up the my expectations. The cymbals do receive a decent amount of volume reduction from this product, but it absolutely fails when it comes to snares and toms. When I played my snare side by side with one stick that had the cover on it and one without, I found there was no noticable difference in volume between them.Save yourself some time and money, go buy a set of drum dampener heads. This is one of those times that being cheap ends up costing more.
