Not bad if your handy for fixing things.
I bought the first one and right after using it, very simple to use, I bought another one.The second one I used next. Upon taking it down, after removing the top cover, you pull the center rod and disengage the top cross bars. Then upon trying to fold up the top rigging, a cross member bent quickly out of position and broke apart easily. The aluminum gage of this square cross member is very thin/weak. I will make a square wood member to ram into both ends of the broken aluminum cross bar and secure the wood member in place to the damage member. Simple fix for me.If your not handy at fixing things, take notice. Thanks, Gary

Awesome quik shade! Car camper's best friend!
Getting this one to replace another that I left up in the wind improperly and it got demolished. Contrary to many of the other reviews this is a very sound product and works well in the wind, HOWEVER; you MUST secure all 4 corners to the ground using tie downs of your own. The little tent stakes to keep the legs in place are just that, they keep the legs in place. They don't prevent the canopy (which is a giant parachute) from taking off when there is a 30mph gust of wind. If you get gusts of wind when the canopy is up and it bothers you then simply lower the legs and tighten the tie downs.I find this thing invaluable for camping in the summer because I can set my tent up under it which protects me from the rain and at night I lower it which lets me sleep in a little longer by keeping the sun off the tent in the morning. All of the hardware is sturdy enough for my taste. It seems like most people's problems stem from not tying down the legs. I guess since it is not included with the shade, people assume it isn't necessary. WELL in the wind it is!As for those people with water filling up in the canopy to the point of destroying the thing, I have but one word.... FAIL. Take it down if windy
Although it looks sturdy & easier to open & close than prior models, the wind is much more powerful. Mine bent up during the first rain storm. Get the warranty

Quick and easy set up.
Use this as full time RV'rs. Have used it two Winters in AZ. Holds up good. Very easy to set up and take down. Top has Velcro at the corners. You can leave the frame up and just take the top off if the wind blows. Highly recommend.

It served its purpose well and I would buy it again
It's not recommended to have this type of canopy up for more than a few days at a time, however I pushed that envelope. I had it up for more than 4 months straight, through sun, rain and wind, and it held up perfectly until we had a few straight days of strong winds which eventually bent the frame posts, due to the 25 pound weights I had on each leg, that were holding it solidly in place. The cover remained in perfect condition throughout that time, worth saving to possibly replace a worn one in the future. I plan to purchase this product again, for similar type of use, however in the future I'll plan to remove the cover when expecting strong winds.

Amazon was very good about sending a replacement
The original product had a cracked plastic corner when I took it out of the box and after one day of use, one of the legs bent while being pulled down for setup. Amazon was very good about sending a replacement, even though it was long past the 30 day return policy (this had been given as a Christmas gift and did not get used until the end of May); however, the new one that was shipped had a faulty bag. The stitching where the case is to be held started coming off the first time it was picked up. Not the best quality...

Good looking canopy
Set it up for the first time. It looks good. The sewing could have been neater on the canopy.
