Love all mermaid decks, easy to shuffle. Artwork is beautiful. Love the energy I get from them.

I expected beautiful artwork, and with Tarot of Mermaids, you definitely get that --- plus alot more I didn't expect.The art and images on each card have an otherworldly feel. You can feel, imagine, being upon the shore, being out at sea, feeling and scenting the salty sea air. The dreamlike images of the mermaids in their underwater and shore worlds tap into the surreal part of one's brain and opens a 'door'. The readings I get from this deck are thought provoking, meditative, wise and extremely accurate. Not your average 'pretty deck of cards'. The LWB comes with a nice write up about mermaids and the myth, clear, concise meanings to the cards, and its own, 8-card mermaid spread. A VERY rewarding and meaningful deck that is worth alot more than the price.

Just Beautiful. This deck is beyond gorgeous and has a mystical quality to it. I am no expert in Tarot readings, but this deck has provided a lot of accuracy in the readings I have shared with friends. I first laid eyes on this deck in 2010 when a traveling gypsy gave me a reading with her very worn and loved deck. She was known all around the community she had been residing in for extremely accurate readings. I had a reading with her with a group of friends and all of could not stop talking about how profound her readings were as well as the stunning beauty of this particular deck of cards. Highly suggest this deck to bring more beauty, art, and mysticism into one's life. <3

These cards are so beautiful - lovely, ethereal illustrations of merpeople that I could look at for hours, and I especially love how the minor arcana are depicted as: chalices = conches, wands = oars, swords = tridents, and pentacles = pearls or bubbles. Brilliant! But unfortunately for me the different languages are too distracting. I appreciate this multi-lingual aspect very much, but it's just too distracting for me from the images and therefore what the cards mean and are telling me. Also, from a graphic design perspective, I have a disdain for the overused Papyrus font. Knowing the deck comes using this font and with multi-lingual labels, I ordered it anyway hoping to bond with the deck, but it just couldn't form, so I'm returning it. Also docked a star for the box it came in - while convenient for travel, it will wear down quickly over time and use, and I've just become so spoiled by other tarot decks that come in a sturdier box. That, and the guidebook, while useful, is small. This deck requires knowledge of tarot beforehand and therefore is not the best beginner deck. Highly recommend for the imagery, but if too many words are distracting for you, you might have a hard time like I did. There's another mermaid deck on the market that comes with a much more expansive guidebook, and the cards themselves also depict lovely illustrations that are less ethereal but more vibrant, and also more inclusive and diverse in skin tone/ethnicity if representation is something you seek in cards that speak to you or who you read for.

There is a coolness and a lyric joy throughout this deck's imagery; the beautiful artwork encourages a restful, contemplative attitude that I find very appropriate for general-purpose readings. The imagery is highly positive without being cloyingly so (like the Hanson-Roberts) -- for instance, the Five of Wands shows a play-struggle instead of a brawl. This deck isn't for everyone -- its vocabulary is sufficiently idiosyncratic as to make it completely inappropriate for beginners, and virtually every card contains female nudity. Possibly more significantly, the quiet feminine energy of the art tends to occlude or downplay negative results and warnings; while I use this deck for daily readings, relationship issues, and magical research, for advice on interpersonal conflicts and finance I'd turn to a "tougher" deck.

This tarot deck is gorgeous- the colour palette is the perfect balance of dreamy blues, deep purples, cool greens and intense reds. the artwork is ethereal - each card plays out a vivid, living scene', and possesses a fluid, dream-like quality that perfectly complements the elemental nature of this deck. This deck has gentle, feminine readings which I feel strongly concern emotions, relationships, imagination and introspection. The cards themselves were large, well-made and easy to work with. The shipping for this product was prompt, and it arrived well-packaged. Would recommend.
