Affordable, clear, quality mics for small-to-medium venues
Picked these up for an evening gig hosting bar games, trivia, ect. Been using it for a few weeks and overall pretty impressed. The sound quality is quite clear, and it seems much more resistant to feedback than some other low cost mics. One prior if you even vaguely angled the mic toward the speaker, even quite far away, you'd get a bit of a squeal. Really a non issue with this one, even walking right in front of the amp while speaking, no issue. There is also almost zero noise from the receiver, even with the amp's gain quite high, fairly impressive given the price.Drop-outs are quite minimal, on par with another host's much more expensive name-brand wireless headset. Every once in a while it will just drop for like half a second then come right back. It's rare, and doesn't really affect usage- just a quick blip every maybe 30 minutes, but it does get worse if you start getting further away. I tried playing around with the frequency, thinking maybe there was a bit of interference, but I haven't found that to make much of a difference. It's far, far better than another cheap amp+mic combo I briefly used. The receiver is USB rechargeable (micro-b, not type-c), and charges at about 6 watts per a tester, which is decent and it fully charges in about 2 hours. The 4-6hr life claim I've found is realistic, I got about 5 hours before the receiver died (the mic was still fine- life there varies depending what batteries you use). It does have a teeny red light for a low battery warning, but this only comes on when there are only a few minutes of life left, and is very easy to miss. It can be used and charged at the same time, so if you do get caught with a low receiver battery, you could plug it in off a USB power bank, or other USB outlet to keep it going which is nice. The mics use two AA batteries. The display appears to have a battery meter, but it's kind of misleading. It looks like 3 "bars" that would drop off, but no. It goes from "full" to "empty" and blinking instantly. So it's really just a "low battery" light, not a meter. I've used it for about an hour after it started blinking and was still working OK. I did 3 full shows, and probably an hour or two of rehearsal before it went to "low", so the claimed battery life seems in line- likely 7-8 hours. And of course being AA's, you can just swap them out in a few seconds.I have started using some EBL 2800mah high-capacity rechargeable, and the mic is good for 8-10 hours, or roughly 2x charges of the receiver. Just as good as, if not even a little better than disposable alkaline type.Overall a pretty decent set for the money. The quality feels reasonably good, the mics are made of metal, not plastic, and have a decent heft/feel.Note- these will NOT work with most "consumer grade" BT speakers/karaoke boxes that originally shipped with a wired mic. The jack will fit, however these cheaper speakers are only intended for a passive/dynamic mic, and take a much lower input signal. This emulates a powered/condenser mic. If you feed this into a box expecting a passive mic, the signal is way too "hot", the sound quality will be very clipped/scratchy/blown out and sound terrible, and could damage the amp. Any sort of musician grade audio equipment will be fine.

Receiver not working…
The media could not be loaded. This lasted for a good 2 days..day 1 was great, microphone sounded amazing when connected to the karaoke speaker I got, and me and boyfriend was enjoying karaoke times.Come day 2 of trying to use it, the receiver wasn’t turning on. I’m like okay, guess maybe I didn’t turn it off right and battery died. I charged it for a good hour, and tried to it on. It’s not turning on?? At this point I’m confused, I’m pressing and holding it like I did first time, but will not turn on. But at some point after like 5 minutes, green on light finally lights up. I have my fun for a good hour, and when I try and turn receiver off like in video, IT WILL NOT TURN OFF.i tried to email Tonor, but no response.Very disappointed with how short my happiness was.Otherwise mic quality and sound was great, for 2 days………So now I process of exchanging.Which is annoying cuz they want to receive package back first before they’ll ship me out replacement, so now I’m down a mic for duet karaoke nights for several days.EDIT: the replacement they sent is now working and no issues whatsoever. Guess the first one the sent was a dud.

Awesome set.
These mics are awesome. I’ve had them for years and they work really well. Haven’t really tested the range but I use them very infrequently and every time I pull them out they are ready to rock.

Awesome for the price
Wow. These are just fantastic. Easy to set up, the sound is crisp. They are a lot of fun. The only gripe I have is that they do not come with the 2 AA batteries out of the box, and that they are not rechargeable. I bought two pairs of high-quality rechargeable AAs, but on this day and age you'd think they could incorporate the batteries and a rechargeable function.I'd given them 5 stars if not for the fact that they are $7 cheaper on the tonor website, and they offer a 15% discount code for Amazon which I only learned about after I'd gotten them. Still, for a drunken Karaoke with my home amp they work beautifully. They seem sturdy and we'll built. I will update 1 year from now.My daughter loved them, so did the wife, can't say the same for the neighbors though.Awesome mics at a very affordable price.
