"Doctors Eyes Only" is a vry helpful source of financial information
This is really an outstanding book, and provides excellent financial information and advice for anyone in the medical field - physicians, dentists, and psychologists. Anyone who has a substantial income needs to be spending their time concerning themselves with their patients, not thir invrstments. "Doctors Eyes Only" desribes how medical personnel can make optimum use of their time, and obtain the best use of their income in order to maintain and geow it over the long-term. I highly recmmend this book to any physician who wants to spend their time and efforts managing their patient care and learn about not having to worry about the effective use of their income over their lifetime.

Go for a used copy don't pay retail. Its not that great.
Been trying to get through this book but its a lot of, almost, subliminal advertisement for the consulting company. I'm a dentist and I'm just starting out. The theme of the book in my mind is look out for this and that but in the end its all case by case so use a consulting company to make sense of it all, i.e. them. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for this book.

Good basic read for beginning physician entering practice or even during residency.
Good review for doc with basic knowledge. Quick read. The Physician Guide to Investing by Robert Doroghazi is more detailed. If you have minimal knowledge, read this first then the Doroghazi book.

Solid book for physicians
Provided good information for physician and raises many good points. Occasionally, too much of an advertisement for their own form but otherwise good read.

great book
Great book and very easy read. Beneficial for novice investors or can be specific to physicians. Lot of advertising in the book, but they have good reason to do it as they're the largest financial planning firm specific to physicians/dentists. Enjoyable for anyone looking to pass along burden of handling own finances to a well respected firm that won't put their interests above yours.

useful but take with a grain of salt
Some useful information here for doctors, unfortunately the book is also clearly slanted to convince you to hire a financial manager (preferably the author's firm).

Read this book!
An excellent book for a senior resident, with solid (not exhaustive) advice and instructions to get new doctors thinking in the right way to start building wealth. This is a great first book to read on financial planning for physicians.

Useless book
Simplistic and has really no valuable info - just a common sense and "recommendations" to work with good financial advisor. Don't we all already know this?...
