This film is a classic among Christian films and was considered one of the finest college productions at the time of its release. Set during the Spanish Inquisition, this film tells the story of Carlos, a young man struggling with his future and his faith. The film blends intrigue, betrayal and the quest for spiritual truth in a stirring drama presenting the gospel and the horrors of the Inquisition. The cover illustration of the man being burned at the stake is taken from a pivotal scene in which some of Carlos' friends are faithful to the gospel even unto death. Because of their testimony, Carlos decides to place his own faith in Christ rather than the church.

Wonderful film that described the horrible persecution of believers toward the end of the Middle Ages.

We enjoyed the Movie. It was well done. So sad to see the persecution of Christians. We recommend the Movie.

Great old movie about what was done to people who questioned or went against the established "Church". Nothing is stranger than truth.
