Great basket
This is a very sturdy, well-made two tier wire basket. Perfect for holding fruits and vegetables or bread items. I have purchased two of these and am very satisfied with these purchases. Recommend.

Beautiful and Efficent
I purchased two of these after measuring my kitchen counter to upper cabinet height. They fit under the cabinets perfectly and look great. I have purchased many kitchen and dining products from Mikasa over the last 30 years and have never been disappointed. These fruit racks are high quality at an affordable price, have a beautiful finish and no unfinished or sharp edges anywhere. I was originally going to purchase three of them since we are big on fresh fruit and veggies and needed a more space saving way to store the items we don't refrigerate, but these are holding more than I thought they would. I actually have over 10 pounds of different varieties of potatoes in just one of the bottom baskets and it doesn't look overfilled. I would recommend these Mikasa two tier baskets to anyone looking for an efficient and attractive way to keep your fresh fruit in the kitchen.

I liked it so much I ordered another
I bought this because it fit under my cabinets. I place a brown paper lunch bag in the bottom to prevent fruit from being bruised by the metal frame. The bag fits perfectly in the bottom tray and I fold it to fit the top tier. As you can see from the picture it holds a lot of fruit and vegetables. I have 5 pounds of potatoes, and two pounds of tomatoes in the bottom tray; four bananas, 5 oranges and 3 peaches in the top tray. I liked it so much I ordered another for onions, garlic, ginger root, bags of dried pineapple, and bags of dried sweet potatoes (that I use as treats for my dog) in the bottom tray. A standard box of tissues fits nicely in the top tray. The possibilities are endless for keeping items tidy on your counter top. The basket is sturdy and well made.

Gorgeous!
This fruit basket is awesome. The design is beautiful and unlike fruit baskets I've seen before. It's also huge! It's too tall to fit under my cabinet so keep the dimensions in mind when purchasing but the size is specifically why I bought it. I just went grocery shopping so let me describe what it's currently holding to give you an idea of how great it is. The top has: 4 avacados, one bunch of 4 bananas, and one bunch of 5 bananas. They're kinda overflowing but they still all fit. The bottom has about 15 clementines, 6 plums, 8 kiwi, and somewhere between 8-10 apples. It's seriously amazing and my fruit looks great and organized.

Hoping I don't have the breakage issue a couple mentioned - because it seems very sturdy - heavier metal than I expected out of
I ordered this basket to get my bananas up off the counter and to put some apples, oranges, etc. in to encourage the family to eat more fruit - because they do if they see it. I agree with the liner comments by a couple people to keep from bruising the fruit - I will probably try paper towels. Hoping I don't have the breakage issue a couple mentioned - because it seems very sturdy - heavier metal than I expected out of a fruit basket - especially this price. It is smaller than I anticipated (the basket areas themselves) - don't remember if dimensions are shared online. Also - some assembly required and 1-2 of the screw holes seems to be a little off with the threading which made that a little more challenging. Other than that - it should do the job.

Well, it's not being used for what I bought ...
Well, it's not being used for what I bought it for, but dang, it's convenient! I put it on the counter between the kitchen and the dining room and before I could put the fruits and vegetables in it I noticed it would hold a box of Kleenex, a bag of cough drops, a brush, a cup to hold change that was laying around, dish towels, and other small items that always manage to land on the counter. Now the counter stays uncluttered and they know where to find their stuff. Now if I can just figure out where to put another one...

Perfection!
I purchased two Mikasa Loop and Lattice 2-Tier Flatback Metal Fruit Baskets for use at my daughter's COVID micro wedding. They were absolutely perfect for holding masks, hand sanitizer mini bottles and Kippahs (yarmulkas) for our guests. They looked beautiful and now, after the wedding, they look great in my kitchen and bathroom (for makeup/hair tools storage).

Highly Recommend This!
This storage basket is exactly what we were looking for. 1. Storage that would take up minimal counter space. 2. Storage that keeps the fruit separated from the vegetables/garlic/onions. This arrived quickly, was already assembled, is sturdy, functional, and best yet, it has a classy design that works perfect in our kitchen. I highly recommend this basket.
