Bard of Avon: The Story of William Shakespeare

This author was new to us and we will be looking for her from now on. The pictures are sooo wonderful they transport you. The information is well done and clear, yet not watered done. This is someone that REALLY understands writing books for children that adults can enjoy using as teachers or parents. I recently bought alot of books on Shakespeare, for use in the school room this year and we have found 4 authors that made the grade on this subject! This is a keeper!

This book has beautiful illustrations and tells Shakespeare’s story in such a beautiful, digestible way! We learned a lot of new fun facts about Shakespeare!

Great illustrations and info...it's plenty of info but presented in a way that is engaging for my kids and not just going in one ear out the other. Well done and a great resource for our Charlotte Mason-ish homeschool

This is a very simple and visually appealing book that we used to introduce William Shakespeare to the children. This proved to be quite effective tool. After reading, the children's interested increased and they began down the path to understand Shakespeare and his work.

Bought for homeschool historical biography. My son enjoyed learning about Shakespeare. It is written in an easy to follow voice. The illustrations are beautiful

Great for teachers and high level readers

I had my 11 year old read it for part of her history and then i re read it to all my kids and wow.. I LOVED it!! Its Charlotte Mason.. so if youre wondering about that, GET IT!

wonderful book in the life of William Shakespeare. It is well written and my children loved me reading Shakespeare's life story to them. It helped them to put in focus his plays.
