THAT Butter Knife, Heat Transfer, Copper Alloy Titanium Treatment, 6.9 inches (17.6 cm), Spread

Pretty impressive technology! I leave butter on the counter, but it often stays hard and is a pain to spread on toast. This knife allows you to shave off butter and spread it easily on toast. It dose not take long to heat up from the warmth of your hand. My daughter recently had an ice cream cake for her birthday and the knife made it super easy to cut nice even pieces. I think its a handy kitchen tool and my kids love the science behind it!!!

Some of the other reviews are pretty funny. In that people thought this knife would get hot or something. It's not like most peoples hands give off that much heat. I think this works great, it's the grooves are what help melt and smooth out the butter or whatever spread you like. It also has a great weight to it - burly little knife. My only complaint is $20 seems a little high.

The 5 stars are all for overall. The categories they ask buyers to review are stupid: warmth, sheerness?This little device is great. The way it carves butter makes it so much more spreadable!

I had heard about this product from a YouTube review and have to saw it was not as impressive as the gentleman described. I think it could be better enhanced with the warming feature for butter it takes a while for it to get warm.

When finally delivered after " being placed in customers hands" email from amazon and having hunted over the neighborhood to locate said delivery, found knife not to be very effective.If it gets warm,it hasn't happened yet and any serrated object could do same job.Some more hype,with no bite...

What can I add to the other rave reviews? It actually works! I held a Thermapen instant-read thermometer against the edge of the blade, and within seconds of gripping the handle, the temperature shot up by 6 degrees F!Repeating the same experiment of a regular knife produced ZERO temperature increase!The scientific method has spoken: BUY this gadget already!;-)

At first I was hesitant to buy one of these based on some of the Amazon reviews but a friend of mine bought one and loved it so I gave it a try. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are but it worked perfect for me. Using the side with the groves I scraped along the top and it allowed me to spread my hard butter on my toast without tearing to pieces. I was disappointed when I tried to slice through the butter and cut off a hunk but other that that it works just fine.I did find one other use for this. Anyone have a problem splitting rock hard frozen per cut bagels. Try the Spread it works like a dream.
