Simple to use, protects the driving electronics (eg Arduino)
The main takeaway from this is that the relay (switch) is electronically separated from the electronics that drives it, because all that now does is turn on a small internal LED embedded in the optocoupler. That, in turn, allows the relay to be switched on in complete safety and without having to think about the high voltages generated when the relay (coil) switches off, and which would normally damage the driving electronics (eg your precious Arduino) but in this case it's all very safe and convenient.Additionally, such a device would normally switch the relay on when the [Arduino's] GPIO pin was LOW and not HIGH as you might expect. But here you can select a LOW or HIGH driving voltage which makes it easier for beginners to get their heads around what is going on: GPIO pin goes HIGH and the relay switches ON - easy!An easy-to-use board, ideal for beginners and experts alike.

Versatile relay board
I love the fact you can configure these to switch depending on the signal polarity - and they work too! Being opto-isolated, there's no inductive kick from the relay back down the signal line. The red LED is a bit overly bright (so uses more current than necessary), but otherwise cracking.

Works exactly as described
The product works perfectly once you figure out what each terminal means.High voltage is on one side, and low is the other. The jumper switches between high trigger and low trigger. Common is input, and NO/NC are both outputs

Can't take anywhere near stated load
Was looking to use these to contol power to PC, printer and monitor and thought 10A load was perfect. However, tried 3 of the 5 now and all have jammed in the close switch position after trying a brief peak load of 5A. Very disappointed that they failed with around half of stated peak load.

Nice single switch
This is a great module. It works at 5 volts and the trigger takes 1.8 mA at 5 V but will trigger at 3.3 V where it takes 1 mA so you can trigger it with an Arduino Due. You can also set a jumper pin to set it to trigger at 0 volts if you wish.It is just one switch in the relay though, not a DPDT.It has helpful LEDs to show you when it's triggered and when the power supply is on.

Cheap but does the job.
Used as control board to add a 15A 12v heated bed to a 3D printer that didnt come with one, or have the power capacity to drive one. Works perfect!y and was by far the cheapest option as I have five spare for about the price of a single one from other suppliers.

Optically Isolated relay module
This board can be used to safely switch mains supplies on and off whilst maintaining full isolation from the control circuit. Good for IoT controls amongst many other applications.
