Yes these jeans are true to size. The fit is amazing. I am 5'5 and they were a tad long. You might need to hem them if you are 5'3.

Depends on how you like them to fit. I found mine to be fitted but in a good way (not too tight at all). They have a lot of stretch so they are super comfy! I'm 5'7" and 285 and I needed a 22 in these.

Q: Has anyone noticed color fading of the black jeans when washed inside out in cool water?

I have a dark jean and a white jean, I havent noticed any color change. I just use the cold water cycle and hang them to dry naturally.
