I love this soap

Great soap. Works great for shaving. Extremely overpriced however. This is 69 cents at Walgreens.

I was looking for a cocoa butter soap to replace Tone, which seems to be discontinued. This Yardley soap is unsatisfactory because of the intense smell. Not kidding, the fragrance is so strong it almost made me choke when I opened the box. The room where I opened the box smelled of that fragrance for about two hours. No way I am bathing with this soap.

I used to use a different "cocoa butter" soap until they pretty much went downhill..( I think they started using cocoa margarine. ) Anyhow, I did a bit of research and discovered Yardley. WOW. Great moisturizing and a fantastic smell. I live in the midwest and the weather can be brutal at drying out your skin. Yardley has great moisturizers to help combat dry skin. Throw in a little vitamin E and I'll tell ya, this soaps a winner.. Two thumbs up from me !!

It's not Tone soap, but it will do in a pandemic... er, uh... pinch. I wasn't able to get my hands on any classic Tone soap made from the same ingredients as this product. My face had begun to dry out with the Dove soap I had been using instead. Even worse, I began to develop wrinkles under my eyes. However, as soon as I bought the Yardley and began using it on a daily basis, the wrinkles disappeared.

The fragrance is amazing. I bought this as a replacement for Puritans Pride Vitamin E because they would not have it in stock for a few weeks. This has almost identical ingredients but the fragrance so much better! Hopefully my insanely sensitive face will not react badly to something new!
