Exactly what I used miles of in the Army. Makes the best boot laces you could ever want.

Bought a roll for hiking boot laces. The outer jacket on this cord seems to not like friction, even with itself. The outer frays and thins very easily, exposing the inner cords. I have to keep remaking the laces. Just not as tough as other PCord I've tried.

this little hank of 550 cordage came on a plastic spool which made it very handy to use and tie it up when done so it didn't unravel and turn into a rats nest. we used this to center a pool pillow when closing our pool for the season. we expect that this will last all winter and into the spring under the winter cover and partially in the pool water.

This is a good quality paracord. Pretty good price. I have gotten cheap paracord before that wasn't really 5 strand paracord, missing the guts. I bought this to add more length for my hops to grow on. The little hairs on the hops plant seem to climb very easy on para cord. You guessed it, that cheap paracord was what I used to put up lines since I had 1000 feet of the stuff. Again this is a good quality paracord. I haven't tested it for strength but it seems to feel like the really good 550 paracord I have picked up in the past. I'm sure this would fit your needs if you need a good paracord for any projects you have going on, or just need something to keep in your pack.

I recently bought myself a fishing kayak. Many of the modifications I viewed during my previous searching had an anchor with paracord as the anchor "chain". It seemed like a great idea to me so that's what I did. Only, to make it better, I used a retractable clothes line. I pulled out the line and tied the paracord to the reel. It works great!

This isn't the actual military 550 cord you're used to if you've ever been in any tactical situation. This is some knock off stuff and I should've known. Just didn't research enough. Feels like a shoestring.

This product is awesome - quality-wise, it's great. The price is decent, but not great. I used to be able to get a spool twice this size for half the price.Having said that, i would recommend the product. It's exactly what it's advertised to be, and we have come to depend on paracord for a LOT of things, not just survival items. We use it for tying down tarps, hanging clothes, etc. Very sturdy product.You won't regret your purchase.
