Picture perfect movie magic
In contrast with the previous version of 4 Privet Drive released as a tie-in with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in 2002, this set from the 2020 wave of the LEGO Harry Potter line strives for a much more representative model as to the design shown in the film series. The build is distinctive and easily recognisable, though right off the bat, I must admit a sadness that since this is just the front of the house, we don’t get a LEGO build of the conservatory complete with an Aunt Marge figure… However, what we do get is fantastic. Fans of the original two films will be spoilt for choice as to which one they’d like to act out first! Will it be the arrival of Harry’s letters through the chimney (as a play feature allows you to pull a cog on the side of the building and send letter pieces flying in under the mantelpiece) or will you re-enact Ron’s rescue of Harry in his flying Ford Anglia, complete with Dobby dropping Petunia’s prize pudding on someone’s head? Very little seems to have been missed, with an abundance of very small details such as the interior of the cupboard under the stairs or the addition of the Privet Drive signage beside the door. Potter fans will find this set to be an unexpectedly interesting build given the Muggle nature of the house. I myself had a very pleasant afternoon putting this one together and for the current asking price of about £40-50, I’d say it’s an absolute bargain for the amount of movie accuracy found within the build, alongside the included mini-figures of Harry, Ron, Dobby and the entire Dursley clan. Happy building to you!

An absolute MUST for your Potterhead!
Firstly, it’s not cheap but then Lego never is; that said, there is so much detail to this set - the letters, the street-name plaque, the newspaper, the hidden room... that it must be considered as good vfm, purely down to the extraordinary attention that has been paid to the books (note: not the film!). It takes quite a while to build but it’s so much fun, lots of “Oooh look at...” and such that the time whizzes by. If you’ve an obsessive Potterhead in the family then it’s a must for their collection; siriusly (sic) good fun for the wannabe-Hogwarts-pupil (or even teacher)!

The Lego Boy Who Lived!
Ever since I completed the Lego knight bus, I fell in love with the Harry Potter Lego sets. I’ve had the hogwarts express and Hagrids hut, and now, privet drive. As soon as I saw this set announced I knew I had to have it. Having now completed the set, which was once again a pleasurable experience, I can safely say that it is a stunning piece. The attention to detail in these sets never fails to surprise me; it makes one wonder how the designers are able to capture the essence of something simply using plastic blocks. The set was not too hard to construct and it allowed me a chance to relax whilst watching the house come into existence. I highly recommend it if you are considering buying it. I haven’t yet been disappointed with Harry Potter Lego, it’s really quite special.

Lego Harry Potter
This was very good value as it was in the sale, the detail is brilliant and the characters are very good, more than expected for the price. We live near to the actual HP house and this does look very good and Lego have done a great job.

Harry Potter
I got my Grandson this for a present. He loves lego. He had it built in one day. It's not a bad size but a bit expensive but that's lego and he's worth it. He now has a few set's of Harry Potter lego and he has great fun with them all.
