How to Catch a Snowman

My six-year-old granddaughter loves the “How to Catch a … “ book series, so when I came across several holiday titles this year, I couldn’t resist purchasing them for our library. Consistent with previous books that we have purchased, “How to Catch a Snowman” follows along on as one clever snowman dodges the traps of the children who built him as part of a contest to win a prize. The illustrations are bright and colorful, and will easily capture a child’s imagination. And the story — told in a familiar rhyming pattern — is printed in an easy-to-read font that even early readers will be able to follow along without difficulty. I also appreciate the multicultural representation of the children in this book. All of the titles in the “How to Catch a …”book series are well-made hardback storybooks that can last many years, if cared for properly. Although this isn’t MY favorite book in the set, it’s still a good value for any child’s library!

I got this book for my little nephew and I think was great and the pictures are really cute. It was shipped on time and was very packed well. I really like all the others ones as well. They are fun read and they are easy to see what the stores is about when you are reading it aloud. I would say anyone that is looking for a short, fun read, this would be the book for the holiday season. I will be ordering more other titles as the new year goes on. I hope this helps anyone looking to buy this book.

My son loves all of the “how to catch” books. They have fantastic art in them, with a good storyline to keep the kiddos entertained

Pretty book to read to your toddler!

The Toddler loves the snowman book. We set up a snowman screensaver on the TV at the same time we started reading the book. He is in love with this book. He made us read it over and over again. We did add to the content a little to keep him engaged at 3 we named the items on the snowman like carrot nose, hat, scarf, mittens etc. He just loves it! He can point to the snowman and tell us all the names of the things. Good quality product great for little ones!

The media could not be loaded. We have them all…OR most of them. All are great. How to catch an elf is his favorite (because of elf on the shelf) but I think each are equally awesome. Very cute and are great for gifting!

Great book for Kindergarten class! Can associate a stem project with it !
