This is a great idea, and an incredibly lousy product.The shield is floppy, soft vinyl that comes rolled up in a tube, not a rigid clear screen as you might expect for face protection. Not only does it flop around on your face when you move, but because the shield is soft and uneven, vision is totally distorted and warped even during normal activities, and reading my phone made me dizzy. No bueno.In addition, the picture shows the screen wrapping around in front of the brim of the hat, but when you try and do that, the screen warps against the brim and the snaps popped off after walking around for only a couple minutes because it is too tight of a fit.This was ill-conceived and I can't imagine it was ever tested in any meaningful way before they launched to sell as many as they possibly could before the bad reviews finally take it down. Terrible!(also I don't know why the pictures are not oriented correctly when they uploaded, sorry!)

The pictures show a fairly rigid shield - the actual product however has a very soft clear plastic that wrinkles and buckles when worn. Further, the shield is not as big as shown on the adult male and adult female on the photographs. I understand that they provided measurements which is their way out of being accused of misrepresenting their product - but still those images are nothing like the product. The length barely comes down to past the chin and the shield width does not generously wrap around the cap visor like shown - in fact the visor pushes out the shield that it deforms the shield and causes it to flare out at the bottom.

This is a baseball cap with a piece of thin plastic that sort of clips on around the peak. An amateurish attempt at a face guard. Don’t waste your money.

I love this shield with the cap. It can easily be detached and reattached. I sometimes use it with a mask but most of the time don't really need to. The shield is wrapped around my face and is large enough to protect my eyes, nose, and mouth. Depending on the proximity between the next person or where I am, I can decide to use just the mask, the hat with shield or with the mask. Without the mask it makes it easier to talk and breathe. The only problem I have with it is the shield falling down when walking. I taped a small piece of cardboard on top of the shield to prevent it from falling off. An easy fix.I read some of the 1 star comments as well but was willing to try it out considering that it's a low-cost product worthwhile testing against a deadly disease. While I respect everyone's opinion, I would like to give my 2 cents against some of the negative comments:1. The shield is floppy, soft vinyl that comes rolled up in a tube, not a rigid clear screen - Actually that is a good thing. the medical shield is made of hard acetate material that can easily be scratched and create bend marks. Unlike this shield's flexible plastic material, the acetate is not tumbprint proof. This hat and shield is also a low-cost product. While I know the hat and the plastic material is most likely 10% the selling price, it's still at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a hard plexi glass or glass material that police shields and motorcycle helmets use, the price would be 10x the cost.2. Vision is totally distorted and warped even during normal activities, and reading my phone made me dizzy - I do NOT have thIS problem mainly because I use prescription glasses. I remember when I did not use glasses back then when I still had 20-20 vision, that this distorted feeling does occur. Hence, you could run into this problem if you expect to read a text on your phone if you're not used to wearing glasses.3. Sent me a hat with no snaps! So I can’t attach the shield! - I was fortunate not to have this problem. If you are missing the snaps, you should definitely have them replace it for free.

There was no snap on one side of the hat. It's unusable.

Surprisingly just as depicted online--not sure where it was made. I'd venture to say not China due to the speed of delivery thanks goodness! The ball cap is really awesome and of nice quality! Folks asked about it since I am the only one in Central Florida sporting such a shield it seems! You can breath and it doesn't fog nor give you the felling of having something stupid of your mouth and nose.

I was nervous to order as I have been ripped off by other companies in the past few weeks. I am immune compromised and have severe respiratory disease so I need something to protect me but not suffocate me. The plastic is softer than it appears in the ad but still works well I plan to wear a light mask under it and try to stay germ feee

I found the shield hat to be comfortable and easy to wear. My eyes were better protected during my flight from the Covid 19 Virus. I recommend this to anyone flying in the near future. The shield rolls up and the hat collapses for easy storage.

No lo recomiendo hay producto tos similares de mejor calidad, esta gorra nunca la pude usar porque la protección de plástico viene doblada y el material no se acomoda para poder usar, intente arreglarla y no sirvió de nada, se fue directo a la basura, mala me hicieran un cambio o reembolso

El plástico para cubrir la cara viene enrollado, es prácticamente imposible enderezarlo, y cuando lo logras, si dejas la gorra por no usarla, se vuelve a enrollar el plástico.

Cuando se recibió el producto, la mica venia enrollada lo que dificultó la puesta en la gorra, si la necesitas para utilizar al siguiente día que te llegue el producto, no será buena opción, no podrás montarla en la gorra

The plastic shield did not stay on the press studs. This product is an epic fail. I would not recommend anyone buy this product. I would actually like my money refunded. I guess I have the black cap.. but it was a waste of money.
