DEE ZEEDZ91753X (106 gallon) Auxiliary Diesel Fuel Transfer Tank - Aluminum

The tank appears very sturdy, well made with heavy aluminum and gorgeous welds all around.My headline is meant to draw attention to a risk that will affect very few people.If you live in a high altitude locale (I live at about 6000 feet) please be careful when removing the pre-installed bung-plugs. The tank is wonderfully fully AIR-TIGHT, and as a result of being sealed at the factory in a lower elevation, a great deal of pressure will build up in the tank when it's shipped to a higher altitude. When I started to remove the plug I heard a hissing - but didn't think too much about it. Two turns later the cap shot up like a rifle round. Very exciting, but a little scary too.Take my advice - if you hear hissing when first removing the plugs - WAIT until the hissing subsides before continuing.

This thing changed my life, or business anyway! No more worrying about running out of fuel in the middle of nowhere. Now I can drive 1200 miles on the tank and also save 30% because I can shop fuel instead of having to get it.

Excellent auxiliary or transfer tank. I had to call Dee Zee to understand the difference in tanks having the suffix "x". X tanks are DOT rated and can be used as an auxiliary tank. This tank has baffles. Highly recommend this product.

I used for diesel tank. Start leaking fuel side of the tank crack. Diesel all my truck and trailer

Very bad condition. After using for tree months its got a crack and start to leaking. And i spent around 300$ to welding again in a bottom corner part.
