IPPINKA Sustee Aquameter, Set of 4, Plant Soil Moisture Sensor, (Green, Large)

I no longer need to guess what my plant's water needs are. With a package of these and another of the smaller variety, I've got nearly all my indoor plants covered and have realized my previous routine was not cutting it.

They help my wife to keep her plants correctly watered.

Finally found out why I was killing my bonsai trees. I was overwatering yhem. Now I'm using them and feeling confident that I'm watering them correctly.

There was a little learning curve but I got the hand of it fairly quickly. They make when to water much easier than sticking my finger in the dirt or waiting for wilted leaves. They pay for themselves in saving the plants. After quite a while some have stopped working. I think I remember they offer new inserts. I will look into that.

Sustee moisture sensors are very easy to use and have been working well since I started using them one month ago. I’ll update my review if my results change in the next 5-6 months.

I ordered these for my 7ft Monstera Deliciosa, I'm not convinced they will do the job on such a large pot, but they will work for my smaller pots.

I was skeptical at first. I used it in my herb pots, which now in the winter are indoors. And I verified its reading every day with a soil moister meter. It was right on. So, I trust it now. I haven’t tested it outside in the sun. I guess, it will be in the summer.

I am using the sticks on my herb and vegetable pots. They work well and inexpensive.

They work great. The price is a bit off the charts for what they are.

Not good for orchids but would be good for water loving plants I suppose. If this aquameter used for orchids they get overwatered which causes root rot and death of the plant as the end result.
