i LOVE this book, and the ease of quick assembly, then into the freezer. we have a storm coming in, and possible loss of power tonight. i had put together the split pea soup (p 28) several weeks ago, and plopped it all into the IP with a quart of homemade chicken broth. 1/2 hour later, we had thick, YUMMY soup. i am hooked!

Every recipe I've made out of this has been delicious. I marked over 75% of the pages as something I'd be interested in making. Definitely worth buying. My plan is to have a bunch of these prepped and frozen before our first baby comes, so we have easy meals to make while we're sleep deprived :)

I am scheduled for surgery that will keep me out of the kitchen for a few weeks and wanted a bunch of "freezer meals" to make life easier for my hubby. The recipes look very tasty and I can't wait to try them out.***I deducted 1 star because the book does not inform you that the recipies are for a 6 quart pot. I have a 3 quart mini and I will need to half all the recipes and make special notes in regards to "halving" the ingredients .
