Smartmak Far Infrared Sauna, Full Body One Person SPA Set with Portable Time & Tempreture Remote Control, Heating Foot Pad and Foldable Reinforced Chair(L 27.6’’ x W 31.5’’ x H 37.8’’) - Black Border

We recently downsized and moved to a much smaller house. Unfortunately, there is no room for the 2-person, Cedar sauna we owned, so we gave it away. My wife has Fibromyalgia and I suffer from severe Neuropathy in my extremities. It was suggested that we could both benefit from removal of inflammation and the toxins that may be contributing to our pain. Upon arrival of the unit, it was observed that almost no assembly was required. It took about 15 minutes for the unit to reach 135 degrees F. I ordered the Oversized Sauna because I am a 6-foot, 250 lb. man. The included folding chair is rated for 300 lbs. and somewhat comfortably accommodates me. There is plenty of leg room and shoulder room. The unit holds temperature very well when all openings are closed and the four separate far-infrared heating panels provide intense heat throughout the 30-minute cycle I set it for. There is also a heating pad at your feet but I find it too hot for my neuropathy. So far I am very impressed with this relatively inexpensive infrared sauna. The wife and I can’t use it simultaneously but for less that 10% of what we paid for our cedar sauna, it is an impressive accomplishment.

Great product! Easy to set up and use! Feel great afterwards!!! I wear a bandana around my neck and put a towel in the chair and over the foot pad to help catch sweat. The foot pad gets super hot so a dish towel is perfect for making the heat tolerable and a good sweat catcher. As far as adding it to exercise for weight loss or pain relief, I've only used it a couple of times so I'll update on that after more use. Hoping it will relieve some tendonitis pain in the ankles and help with a knee injury from a wreck last summer. We'll see! Satisfied!!!! I wish the neck piece alone was removable for easier wash so I don't like to close it all the way around my neck but a bandana helps with that.

Was concerned originally because carton was torn and appeared to be possibly used and not well packaged. All parts were there however and unit opened easily and heated quickly in 5min. . Appears to be working properly, if not, hopefully the problems will be evident before the 30-day return policy expires. Will update if problems exist...

I really enjoying my Portable Far Infrared Sauna like never before. It's been a month and one week, & I see a different with my weight loss (-8 lbs) and feel wonderful. I'm ever so great for this Sauna. This sauna is made well, no problem putting it together, as it's self explanatory. I do it 3 times out of the week, and of course making other changes in my life, as far as nutrition, exercising, proper rest, getting enough sunlight & etc...... I no longer have pain on my feet, and can workout a little longer than before. It's amazing how your body can response to changes when you're consistent, and dedicated. Thank you once again. I so greatly appreciate the opportunity to do business with this company.

It doesn't take long to warm up, straightforward design, i didnt even need instructions to assemble, 25 minutes will get you right although timer starts off with a 50 minute countdown, so far so good. plus the chair is sturdy

do not buy this sauna !!!!! I got it in feb and 6 months later it just stopped working I have been trying to get in contact with the company and nothing. do NOT BUY THISUPDATE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!! their suggestion was for me to open and try to rewire my sauna

Just got my unit today. I was so excited to try it! Setup was super easy. The heat was great! The only thing is that this sauna is not for tall girl, I’m 5’10 and my first experience was very uncomfortable. I had to bend my back all the time in order to fit inside, and then I was even trying to sit without a chair on the floor of course with my head inside the sauna. Very very small unit, almost no space at all.Also if they would do double zipper from the bottom so you can stick your feet outside sometimes, that would be a great additional future, or make some pockets for your legs to stretch them out a bit.

I don't expect much from products these days, especially affordable ones, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I did not receive this product for free or get any discounts, etc. I bought this sauna because I was spending way too much money at the local spa to use theirs. I was paying about $60 per session, which wasn't sustainable. One thing I will say up front is that I rarely broke a sweat when going to these commercial spas and used their infrared saunas, despite drinking tons of water and electrolytes and trying various other tricks I found on the internet. This sauna, however, provokes very intense and sustained sweating within minutes for me. I drape a beach towel over the chair before I begin (to reduce the mess) and I thouroughly soak the towel. I really have no complaints. Just leaving this review because I know how frustrating it can be to order big ticket items like this and end up trashing them or banishing them to the attic. I don't regret this purchase at all - it's just what I needed. It does what it says it does, nothing more, nothing less.

This works fine. I'm 5' 7 and 120 lbs. If you're a big person you might need to jam yourself in. Just make sure you can send it back if you need too.

Just recieved it set it up used it and it was great. Reached the tempature quickly and it sure makes you sweat. I will use as directed and and will write again if all goes well or even if it doesn't hold up to my expectations. Shirley

I was a little hesitant to buy this but the reviews made me hive in.It's super easy to set up (literally, out of the box, fold out the sides and zip it -done.The controller is easy to use, and it heats up FAST!Only thing I'm still leary about us IS IT REALLY INFRARED? The interior us black cloth. The "motor" thing us in upper corner on the back, and that's where I feel majority of heat coming from. ..I can't see anything infrared about it.Front pocket, right out of the box, is partially come unsewn. Luckily I have a sewing machine so that's not. Big deal to sew it back together.The chair has a short back, and no arm rests...like a glorified stool. Kinda hard to sit in a relaxed manner.It certainly heated up hot, and fast. I was dripping all over in sweat within about 12 minutes.It's fairly light weight and folds flat, so I guess it's portable. Ya probably look goofy as hell sittin in the thing with your head popped out the top, but if you wanna sweat, this works. It's actually good your head is out so you can breath cool air (unlike the big stand-up ones where you're completely inside)I fudnt notice the foot pad got very hot, but then from the reviews, I put a twa towel on top of it straight away.The front kinda sags in, doesn't stay puffed out like in the picture. Wondering If I did something wrong, missed something setting it up. I had to keep pushing the front top up and out away from my body.4 stars because of the outer pocket falling off. May adjust the number of stars later, depending on my finds of wether or not its actually infrared or just plain heat. Seriously have my doubts on it actually being infrared.Will update review after I've checked it out and used it a little more.

It never gets as hot as it says it should (140).That being said I sweat like a mother in there haha

After one month my sauna won’t heat up anymore and my return window on Amazon is expired . So dissappointed
