Billet Aluminum Key Head (for Classic Mercedes-Benz Vehicles)

This item was exactly what I needed for the old MB key. It did fit a tiny bit loose but I just used their advice and put a couple small dabs of thread locker in it and it's good. Works great and I am glad I bought it. It is a bit pricey but in my honest opinion it was worth it. It is billet aluminum with a great finish.

works great. Original casing was rubber so deteriorated with time. Just select the photo that most resembles the key pictured. Comes with tool also. Easy to put together.

The seller was very cooperative and responsive when the first item I received was a different model, and sent a replacement quickly. However, the replacement which is the right model, doesn't fit snugly. I am keeping it anyway, because it works, and its a lot better than the plastic ones.

Perfect solid fit for my 1995 Mercedes BenzS320 key. Feels like it will outlast the car.

I was very happy to see that a product like this exists. I have a 1970 Mercedes 280sl. The plastic key head will barely last a month without tearing. Though my vehicle is not listed as one of the supported cars it worked fine. So the Mercedes w113 keys will work with this key head. There is a small amount of play. I don't mind this and did not want to crazy glue or epoxy my key.

This work perfect for my busted mercedes key, never could find a solid solution to fix it. But this was what I need. It does work for late model mercedes.

Well, this thing is solid, hold the old cedes key perfectly. But there are two tiny screws that hold the thing together. I dropped one and couldn't find it after searching hard. And... there were no extra screws proivided. For $30, the manufacturer should have the forsight and generosity to do so. I now have used heavy wire to wrap around the side where the screw is missing. So far the workaround is holding... but just not very satisfacdtory.
