Great concept and works well
Great concept to mount a wind vane on your antenna (before I had a complicated bracket to mount a wind vane next to my mast-head antenna). Works great, even at night. The mast-head light illuminates the bottom of the wind vane. More robust than my previous wind vane. I expect this one to last more than one season.

good design
works great: low friction and good visibility. Also great idea to mount it on antenna, which acts as a bird spike. Had it installed for half a year now, no problems with birds trying to sit on it so far.

Product missing parts…
I’m giving this 3 stars because I received a package that was previously opened (and returned?) and it was missing important parts!!!BUT! I have used this vane in the past and it works well. I do recommend it, but am disappointed that I received an incomplete package as I’m leaving on a trip and needed this asap!

Has done the job quite well on our 20 footer...I would buy again! Also the retailer was able to stop a mistaken second shipment that occurred possibly due to my error. VERY helpful folks

it is exactly what it says it is. since this model doesn't include the ruby bearing you would have thought that the price would be less. but that's always been the only complaint about the windex. works great. sucks when it breaks and way more expensive than it should be, but not so expensive that i don't replace it when it breaks.... because it really does make life sailing better.

Just what we needed, fast shipping.
Hard to find, we where happy to find it on Amazon. Everything fits perfectly on our mast and it fit the antenna perfectly.

Product looks good, although I have not installers it yet. The description is deceiving as it actually does not come with the antenna and attachment.The package does however come with the space for the antenna so it seems they are separating it and selling it separately.
