Does not work but a few months.
I returned my first order and received another unit. That unit only worked for a short time. Again the unit is not working. I get an over heating blinking Hc code that can not be reset or corrected. I am currently trying to help from the Welcomeget seller. I hope that I can get a response to fix this heater or it is only an expensive piece of junk. I thought there was a 1 year warranty. The maximum temperature is the default when the unit is powered on. This means if it were working then you have to watch the temp because it will become too hot for humans to be in the water.

Simple install, cost effective
I bought this because the cost of using this 11kw unit vs running a propane/gas heater was massive. When I received it, I was surprised at how quickly I was able to install it inline with my pool/spa system. Less than 2 hours. It is beyond simple/easy to operate, which is a definite pro. I recommend simply planning a little ahead when heating any body of water however, as it takes at least a few hours to get up to temperature. If you've got that easy step down, then you'll enjoy it as much as me!

Decent pool heater, but know what you are buying
First off, let’s get one thing straight, this is a Chinese knock off of the Coates 11kW heater. Do not think you are getting the same product as you are not. I knew this when I bought it, but just wanted to be clear. Also, I am a mechanical engineer and had an electrical engineer go over the unit prior to install to make sure that it was safe as this is not a UL tested unit.Overall, the heater is decently made. The wiring is within spec for the amount of current it will be drawing and the crimp connections were good. I added a 3 position terminal block (McMaster p/n 9130K42) as using wire nuts on a 240v 50amp connection is kinda sketchy. There was a broken sensor wire (happened during shipping, no fault of the manufacturer) that I had to repair, but other than that the unit functioned out of the box with no issues. The “PUMP WORKING” light is not wired in, and to make it work requires soldering in some wires. The instructions are vague and translated in the manual, but they are there. The only thing I will gripe about is that it does not have a mechanical sensor to detect minimum flow thru the unit. It uses 2 temp sensors and infers flow thru temp differential. This works, but can be fooled causing the unit to heat when the pump is not working. I added a mechanical flow switch (McMaster p/n 2766K43) and a relay to shut off the main power relays if no flow was detected. I also used this to drive the “PUMP WORKING” light. Do not attempt to do this modification unless you are comfortable with high amp power systems as a screw up can cause major issues.Took about 6 hours to go from 72deg to 80deg with the cover on.Pool setup :* 3300 gal above ground pool in So-Cal* .5 hp, 900gph pump with 14” sand filter* 1-1/2” supply and return linesInstallation notes :* Use at least #6 wire to supply voltage to the unit* You must use a GFI breaker to feed this unit!! There is no ground fault protection in it!! Not doing so is unsafe!!* Unit pulls 48.7amps of 240v AC. I have it on a 50amp breaker with no issues.* Unit will not work in salt pools. The heating elements will corrode and stop working, or worse cause electricity to leak into the pool.

A scam
It consumes a lot of electricity. It doesn't heat up, and it broke after 10 months. I couldn't return it because the manufacturer is not in the United States, and the shipping costs were over $400.I had to pay $1500 to have an electrician install it.

Great cheap heating option.
Heater worked great on a 3500 gallon above ground pool. Only issue I had was my power cord was too long and the wire (8ga.) was overheating. Once I shortened it, it worked great.

Scam
These will trick you into thinking it's a Coats heaters which are amazing and last forever. I bought 5 of these. 3 have caught fire and burned up. I've turned these is for copyright and misleading branding. Do not buy

Works but cheap product
I added this inline heater to an in ground spa in S. Florida. While is works, the inlet and outlet couplings are so cheap that they cannot not be made to not leak. The unit will not hold temperature as set. It can be set to 38C and it will climb to 42C. This unit needs to be shut off at the Breaker box when not in use and I'd highly recommend raising it off the pad due to the water leaks for fear of electrical shock. If this is the only unit that fits your budget absolutely buy a spa cover. The spa will heat much quicker and will retain the heat better.
