Does it have a shoulder strap?

It has the usual split shoulder straps normal on all backpacks. I was looking for a lightweight backpack I could take on trips to Europe, sort of like the one Rick Steves uses in his TV shows. I think this will be excellent to carry water and the little things I usually have to squish into my pockets. I will be using it with only one of the straps over my shoulder sort of like a shoulder bag.

does this bag come with laptop sleeve?

If by sleeve you mean the internal pocket, then yes. And it holds my 15 inch laptop with protective case nice and snug. Also to note, the pouch the bag folds into, becomes an additional pocket inside for chargers, cables or whatever else you can tuck in there.

What are the dimensions and volume (in liters) of this backpack? Is it a breathable nylon or the parachute type that makes your back sweat?

The bag is made of ripstop Nylon. The material is water resistant, so may not prevent back sweat. Dimensions are: 16IN x 12IN x 6IN

Can you dynamically adjust / move the height of the shoulder straps? Or must one manually weave the fabric through to set it to a fixed strap length?

The shoulder pads are moveable, independent of strap lengths. The pack itself is very light with several internal pockets. Waterproof, too.
