Vixa V12 Fairway Wood Golf Club for Men & Women- Versatile & Dependable Club for Long Accurate Shots with Heat-Treated INOX Steel Clubface & High Performance Graphite Shaft

I'm a bad golfer, so take this review with a grain of salt.Off the fairway, this club is great. Much, much better than my 3 wood.Off the tee, it (actually me) has a tendency to hit left and / or hook.All in all, I'm quite satisfied.

At the time I ordered this, I was having difficulty with hitting my driver. I was not getting proper distance and my shots were offline. This was advertised as a club that could potentially replace both the driver and the 3 wood and that sounded attractive to me, although I tend to hit my 3 wood really well. However, by the time I received the Vixa V12, I had corrected my issues with the driver and found I didn't really need this club. But I decided to take it to the range and test it out and I found this to be a really well-made club that performed well. If I had continued to struggle to hit my driver AND if I was not happy with my current 3 wood then I would have kept this club for sure. The distance was nowhere near as long as my driver if I hit both clubs equally solid but it was long enough and it was certainly easy to keep it in the fairway. It wasn't even quite as long as my Callaway 3 wood (which is a "strong" 3) but the club was super easy to hit and it was reliably accurate. It just so happens that I don't have the need for the club that I thought I would but I would highly recommend this club to anyone struggling to hit their driver. If you are curious how this compares to the GX-7 (which I've also tried in the past) I would take this club as it is more versatile. It has about the same distance off the tee as the GX-7 but it's more accurate and far easier to hit off the fairway than the GX-7 is. Hope this is helpful.

Hitting the ball farther!

Not sure how to rate this order. I borrowed a friend's club and either off the turf or on a tee, they all went dead straight. Not as long, but I'll take straight every day. The problem was when I received it, there were grass stains on the face plus it looked like "rust" on the face. They sent me a used club???

This product is most of what is advertised. Works well off the turf and is definitely easy to hit in a consistently straight trajectory. Not sure that given the size of the head that it could rival the distance of any modern driver, but for tight tee shots it probably has some value. Think Adams Tight Lies to get a feel for profile and distance. Glad I added it to my bag.

It's what I expected

I guess I should know better than to believe this is the answer to my game improvement. In fairness, I have used it on the range and one round of golf. It is not so accurate. Not as long as my driver but longer than my 3 wood. I like it and will give it a try the rest of the season.

Well, there's still a lot to learn about this club, but I used it for my first two shots on a 340 yard par 4 where I was just short of pin high on the right side of the green... what anyone says it's always the player not the club but this was an easy start and not at all difficult to hit off the fairway as well as the tee, I suspect you'll want to tee up considerably lower than w/a typical driver.

Performs well as a driver however, requires a relatively flat fairway to be consistent. Well suited for well-groomed fairways. Would be a great club for Florida.

Basically it was not a good fit for my golf game. My 5 wood performs much better including distancing. It might work for another golfer but not for me and golf clubs are like that.

The club is neither a disappointment or game changer for me. I get the length I was promised but don’t find it easier to hit straight than other woods I have tried. It remains in my bag well used with hopes I can improve on its use
