Good product. Use the full pack If you want your sponges to have an intense colour, especially orange and yellow.

Used this to make a rainbow cake for my toddler's birthday. I was a bit concerned about the quality of the product after reading previous reviews, but I had no issues getting vibrant cake colours. The yellow food colouring seemed a bit 'weaker' than the others, and I needed to add more of it to get the desired shade - but there was plenty in the tube for this.

Ok. I’m a novice home baker/confectionary maker but I thought I’d give it a go. Food colouring and flavourings, once prolific in supermarkets now seems confined to the online shopping experience. I’ve ordered these, but not yet used them. It’s a brand I know and trust so I may add to my review in a few days. They arrived on time and undamaged.

The colours work ok in buttercream but I really do not recommend for fondant. Not only does it require A LOT of colouring to try and get a deeper colour, it makes the fondant very sticky. Also the colour does not build much both in fondant or buttercream. It reaches a point where no matter how much more you add, the colour doesn't change. Pic attached shows the maximum colour I was able to reach with fondant and that took a lot of colouring. The sugarflair gels are much better and worth the extra cost. I only bought these due to the number of colours I needed for my project, as the price was good, however ended up having to use sugarflair for a lot of it in the end anyway.
