Zippo FireFast Torch

I must admit that I love this little thing. First of all, it does not come loaded with butane, but you can buy relatively cheap butane canisters at Walmart (and on Amazon - but Walmart is cheaper). Look for the larger ones in the plumbing section and not the ones at the front of the store near the lighters. On the "mixed" side (both positive and negative) the safety mechanism is a bit "fiddly" as the English say... you get used to it, but it's not perfect. On the positive side, the safety will make it quite hard for a little kid (with very small and weak hands) to activate it and burn his or her face off. So that's clearly a good thing.All in all, I'd highly recommend this butane torch from Zippo - even if you're just lighting you're Buttercream Cookie Yankee Candles... it makes you look cool while doing it. ;)

I am never one to leave a review but this think is so bad that I had to hoping it would save someone else from wasting there money on it. First off I bought this because it was a brand name that has been around forever so I figured it has to be built well and be reliable. It is impossible to light it with one hand, the trigger feels as though it's going to break every time you try to use it, and it is the most awkward size/shape! I'm not sure who designed this torch but they failed miserably! One would thing they would actually test there design and use it maybe pull the trigger even once and they would realize they need to go back to the drawing board and throw this in the trash before they go ahead and manufacture mass quantities of this to sell and rip people off. I hope this information and honest review helps someone out and you will have better luck buying some random no name torch rather than this ever so frustrating garbage!!

I bought this lighter to light a pipe. It works well, but is a little large and not easy to use for that purpose.

What's not to like about this? It starts every time... assuming you have enough butane in it. It does not come with butane btw. Adjustable flame and lock out for little ones is a plus. Dependable for starting fires and candles around the house. I purchased it for in home fireplace as well as outdoor backyard fires. It performs well for all of the above. Can't really complain about anything.

Difficult to use with one hand if you don't have strong hand strength. Hard to engage the rear safety trigger because it rests on the soft "web" of skin between the thumb and index finger. Also requires a firm, strong squeeze to engage the trigger far back enough to ignite the flame. It's OK to use with both hands, or with one hand if you have strong hand strength. Also, the flame strength slider is awkwardly placed where the side of your thumb grips the unit. The unit could be better, more "ergonomically" designed.I also suggest watching some YouTube videos first on how to fill the thing with fuel to avoid being surprised by fuel squirting out when full.

I love this little torch the picture that you see on the web page doesn't know Justice once you get it in your hand you can see the quality in it super well built one of the top three torches I've ever had and I've had a lot it doesn't have a lock on it if that's okay for the price you have to be crazy not to get it I would buy it again and again
