Perfect for the beginner
Great bike. Came quickly and was easy to put together. Have been using it a week and is perfect for the beginner at home who is looking to start off getting back in shape. Perfect considering the price.

Nine months, two broken parts - don't buy this exercise bike
Ordered the 120 from Amazon to get fit after Christmas. I picked a York bike because its a good quality name and I went for a the most expensive one I could afford so I would get something solid and reliable. So it arrived by courier and all was good. Once I got the bike put together (not too complicated but very heavy and lots of parts) I was impressed.Unfortunately after 6 weeks of cycling 10km following Programme 2, 5 days a week, I was midway through my exercise when I heard a bang as the side panel landed on my ankle. The centre crank had snapped and the black and green plastic panel had flown open.I contacted Amazon Customer Service who were helpful. I had thrown away the box and so they sent me a replacement and I boxed up the old bike to send it back.My second 120 was alright, my only complaint was the supporting legs were bent slightly differently so when you cycled it wasn't rocked on the floor. A folded sweat towel righted that and I was off.About six weeks in the 120's computer screen stopped working. I unscrewed the device unplugged it and replugged it in and that was fine. However in September five minutes into my routine the crank broke on my second 120. I contacted York this time, who told me to go to Amazon, and once again they were very helpful. So Amazon refused to replace as it was the same issue, and I got my money back. Have since decided to go for an aerobic step, less parts to go wrong. So it was a very disappointing experience for me and I wouldn't recommend the York 120 or York full stop. I think if your going to get something for exercising at home, you need to spend a lot of money and a gym membership just might be cheaper!

Good bike, but serious production issues / design flaw!!
I've had a York C201 Exercise Bike for years...& when the electrics died in Nov, I immediately had no reservations buying another York product. As I couldn't buy a replacement model, this looked like a good replacement & slightly better spec.It arrived on 18th Nov & had the usual pain in the backside hassle of assembling it. Despite this, it worked a treat, silent & programmable, a bit uncomfortable in the sidle, but still.Got through Christmas & was shedding some festive chocolates on the 9th Jan and...BANG!!...The right pedal / crank had sheered off, cracking the plastic casing & leaving my knee almost side-wards to it's normal position. To be fair, Amazon was very good & immediately dispatched a replacement & arranged for the broken machine to be picked up (which the courier originally refused as it wasn't packaged up...really, an exercise bike!!?Still...the replacement was duly received only a day later...cue another delightful few hours of putting this one together.Again, settled in to an almost a daily routine of exercising in front of the telly & have indeed shifted those Christmas Ibs (& a few more). Then BANG...Yes...that's right...the same thing happened, in exactly the same place, this time only having it less than a month. The pedal has come away from its anchoring point having sheered the metal. The plastic casing is in bits & my back in spasm as my foot was in the plastic foot strap when it decided to cave in.Amazon can come & get this one too but will now go for a FULL REFUND. Unfortunately I no longer trust York product so will not be ordering again. As I said in the headline...either has got some serious production issues or is a bit of a design flaw (for it to happen in EXACTLY the same way, after a similar length of time).Does anyone know the number of a good chiropractor?

Not bad but serious production issues
Its a good bike overall and is pleasant to use, smooth and quiet with nice finish, and good range of programs. However, i had to send the first on back as the magnetic resistance started playing up after 2.5 hrs of use. It would increase a bit then slip back and only really changed when you got to over 12 when it would suddenly kick in. Also noticed a bit of plastic loose inside the casing.Fair enough York sent a boxed replacement and picked up the old one fully assembled for no charge. The new one seems to be ok but i still dont really trust the magnetic resistance to be functioning properly but will stick it out, but at least it is consistent. As others have said the heart rate sensors are a joke, totally unrealistic and hardly change from a steady cycle to a lung busting hill rise. Every time ive used the recovery thing it actually goes up rather than down. Ive also tried turning the handlebars round so that the sensors are away from you (how it should be) so that its your fingers gripping them lightly not the palm of your hand.Ive found that one of the programs (so far) is not calibrated properly i.e. it show one bar drop but actually drops two bars (#8).Its a good bike for the money (mine was heavily discounted) but the design and production seems to be very shoddy. I just hope the resistance function doesnt give up as has been described on previous models.

On yer bike
The good.....Relatively easy to assemble ....but you will need 2 people for this as it is a bulky and weight bearing job. (took us 50mins)Well packedLooks nice when assembledGood easy to read and uncluttered displayThe tools (eg powerometer, heart rate monitor, body fat scale etc) are pretty good and easy to useThe price is very reasonableIt hardly makes a squeak....very, very quiet!the badthe seat could be a bit more comfortable but it isn'tthe uglythere isn't anything ugly about it although some may find the colour combination unflattering.
