I actually used these to create a long towel rack (apartment with wife and 3 young adult Grandboys, who test the endurance of anything!) - very sturdy. Couldn't find a dowel rod for the right diameter, but a wooden broom handle worked well (course, without the broom head attached! : ) Seems like a strong weld on them and can support the weight of any curtains (several towels).

Needed curtain brackets like these but couldn't find any in metal for a reasonable price. These are perfect and look great - sturdy and well made, look and feel expensive. Highly recommend.

I would give this five stars except the product DID not have the screw in the round section to "tighten" onto the wooden dowel. So Im not very happy about that. Thankfully it's not affecting the rod moving so far .... will change my reviews if the missing screws make the rod move unduly!!
